Recommended dosage and regular use are important

Doctor said, “Asthma is a chronic disease. The goal of treatment is not to completely eliminate the disease, but to control its symptoms and maintain the patient’s life as close to normal as possible. During the treatment process, attention is focused on eliminating complaints, maintaining respiratory functions at the best level, and maintaining the patient’s normal life. Asthma symptoms can be controlled by giving appropriate medication. The main goal here is the regular use of therapeutic drugs at dose recommended by doctors,” he said.

Prof. Dr. drew attention to the importance of the correct use of controlling and rescuing drugs together and said the following:

The studies conducted indicate that controlled asthmatics in Turkey are only one-third of all asthma patients,” he shared the information.
