RHINOPLASTY NOSE PROCEDURE

Rhinoplasty nose job surgery in Turkey usually is done in 1 to 2 1/2 hours.

Other popular cosmetic surgery such as cheek implant and eyebrow lift, or top face plastic in Antalya and Istanbul and can be done at the same time of nose surgeries and will expand duration of the surgery care. The most common anesthesia used in plastic Rhinoplasty is intravenous sedation or general anesthesia way. The procedure will start with Turkish surgeon marking where the incisions will be made. Then the surgeon in Turkey will follow the incision lines made and reshape the inner bone and cartilage. When the Turkish Doctors surgery is ending the incisions will be sutured, close stitched for easy 5-10 day heal period.

SUITABLE PATIENTS FOR RHINOPLASTY

Rhinoplasty is suitable for both females and males after the age of 14 when they have had their last grow spurt. Patients need to be at a good health condition and be ready both mentally and physically for the surgery.

BEFORE RHINOPLASTY NOSE SURGERY

  • Patients male and female must stop taking any medication and herbal supplements at least 2 weeks before the surgery.

  • Patients need to stop taking alcohol and quit smoking at least a week before the surgery and avoid taking caffeine 48 hours before the surgery.

AFTER RHINOPLASTY NOSE SURGERY

  • Rhinoplasty in Istanbul and Antalya private hospital is usually done on an outpatient basis so the patient is sent home same day of the surgery ended.

  • The fresh face can feel sore and tight a few days after the surgery and not hard.

RISKS OF RHINOPLASTY NOSE SURGERY

  • Infection – pretty rare but developed within the first few days after surgery.

  • Bleeding – a large clot or pocket of blood called a hematoma can occur.

  • Numbness (loss of sensation) – temporary loss of sensation on the skin of the nose and the mucosa lining of the nostrils.

  • Reaction – to anesthesia.

DEFINITION OF RHINOPLASTY

Sutures – surgical cut made in the skin during surgery or treatment.

General anesthesia – variety of medications given to ensure unconsciousness, loss of control of reflexes. The  patient is put to sleep to not feel any pain or discomfort.

FIRST DAY
.
The patients will attend a consultation with the surgeon and will be advised about the procedure and their condition. The patient will then be taken through a couple of tests that are required before the surgery. If desired, patients can spend the day to rest and attend the hospital the next day.

SECOND DAY
.
Rhinoplasty surgery will be performed. The surgery will be performed using general anesthesia. Rhinoplasty usually takes between 1 to 2 1/2 hours to perform. Nose Surgery is done on an outpatient basis. Once the surgery is over the patient will be taken to a private room where they will be staying in hospital for resting. The surgeon will perform a check up and if they are approved to be in a good, healthy condition and the surgery results are all successful; the patients are advised with post treatment care requirements and are ready to be discharged from hospital to their settlements.

THIRD DAY
.
Patients will attend a post surgery appointment for a final check up and consultation. The patient will be advised on further medication. If everything is right then the patient is ready to return to their destination, unless patients undergo other surgeries together with nose surgery, which require for them to stay longer. If a splint or cast is applied after the surgery, this can be removed on the seventh day of Rhinoplasty in Turkey or at the patients destination.

1. What is Rhinoplasty?

Nose Surgery is usually done using intravenous sedation or general anesthesia. The surgery is usually done on an outpatient basis so the patient will go home the same day. The surgeon may perform incision inside the nostril (closed Rhinoplasty) or under the nose (open Rhinoplasty). A splint or cast will be applied and used for 7 days after the surgery.

The cast is usually taken off after 7 days from the surgery.

Patients usually return to work or school once the bandages or splint is removed, which is usually a week after the surgery.

4. What are the risks of Rhinoplasty?

Just like every surgery Rhinoplasty has some risks like infection, bleeding (which is very rare), swelling and bruising, which making cold compresses can reduce. Allergic reactions and reactions to anesthesia can also occur.
