ABOUT DENTAL VENEERS IN TURKEY
For dental veneer by dentist in Turkey require up to 3 visits to the dentist. First visit is for a consultation which the dentist will examine the teeth and make sure that veneers are suitable. X-rays can be taken of the teeth and the dentist may make impressions of the mouth and teeth. In the second visit, the dentist will remove about 1/2 millimeter of the enamel from the tooth surface. Before trimming off the enamel, the dentist will decide whether there is a need for local anesthetic to numb the area. Then the dentist in Turkey will make a model or impression of the teeth, which will then be sent out to a dental laboratory to construct the veneer. Lastly on the third visit to the dentist, the dental veneer will be permanently cemented to the tooth after the dentist has temporarily placed it on the tooth and examined its fit and color. Before the veneer is applied, the tooth will be cleaned, polished and etched. Special cement is applied to the veneer and then the veneer is placed on the tooth. Once the position is fixed the dentist will apply a special light beam to the dental veneer, which will activate the chemicals in the cement causing it to harden or cure quicker. The last step is for the dentist to remove any excess cement evaluating the bite and making final adjustments.

BEFORE DENTAL VENEERS
- Patients must avoid alcohol and tobacco products 2-3 days before the treatment.

- There are almost no restrictions unless told by the dentist.

AFTER DENTAL VENEERS
- Patients must brush the teeth twice a day using toothpaste, containing fluoride. Toothbrush must be renewed every 3 months.

- Patients must floss the teeth once a day and make sure all plaque removed before moving to the next tooth.

- Patients must show care to drink water after meals as it will help flush food particles and reduce acidity levels in the mouth.

FIRST DAY
The patients will attend a consultation with the dentist and will be advised about the treatment and their condition. Then the dentist will make a model of the teeth and send it to the laboratory for the permanent veneers to be made.

The permanent veneers will be tried on and then cemented onto the tooth using special cement. The veneer is placed on the tooth. The last step is for the dentist to remove any excess cement evaluating the bite and making final adjustments.
