THERE IS A GREAT DANGER WAITING FOR YOUR BRIDGES AND COATINGS

It is very important that the coatings are compatible with the gums. Gingivitis begins with simple bleeding. Severe bleeding can lead to bone destruction, and if you do not take precautions, you may lose your tooth. If you have bleeding and edema in your gums, be sure to contact your dental doctor in Turkey.

Healthy gums do not have a dark red appearance, they have a light pink color. A dark red gum can be caused by plaque in the form of a sticky film that constantly accumulates around, on, or between your teeth and the Decking and gums. If these plaques are not cleaned, they can irritate the gums, leading to redness. In addition to plaque, the incompatibility of the bridges and coatings made, excessive sinking or pushing of the gum; can cause the onset of gingivitis. This condition; If precautions are not taken, it causes bone loss and then tooth loss. That is why the compatibility of veneers with gums is so important. Gingivitis begins with simple bleeding, as a result of severe bleeding, you can start bone destruction, and if you do not take precautions, you will lose the tooth. If you have a bleeding and edematous condition, contact your doctor. You may be faced with the situation of changing your coatings that sink too much into your gums, and you may need gum treatment.

BRIDGES AND COATINGS

Bridges and veneers are prostheses that are glued and fixed to existing teeth or implants by dentists. Veneers are used to completely seal damaged teeth or to cover an implant. Bridges are usually used to cover free space in cases where one or more teeth are missing. Teeth are glued to natural teeth or implants that surround the area where the tooth once stood.

.
THE BEST ORAL CARE TIPS

Cladding and bridges have a long service life, but sometimes they loosen or fall off. The most important step you can take to ensure the longevity of your coating is to practice good oral hygiene.

Brush your gums and teeth with fluoride toothpaste twice a day and floss every day.

Go to your dentist regularly for checkups and professional cleaning.

Avoid chewing hard food, ice, or other hard objects to avoid damaging your new concrete or bridge.

.
LET YOUR GUMS BE HEALTHY

Healthy gums are important for the success of bridges and veneers. Learn from your doctor in Istanbul about toothpastes, mouthwashes, and the brushing method that is right for you that are created to help keep your gums healthy.

Veneers are a tooth-shaped covering that is placed on a tooth that is badly damaged or has rotted. Many people also call it crowns. Crowns are applied for several reasons, usually if the tooth is severely damaged by a fracture or tooth decay… As a result, a filling; it cannot replace the tooth or make the tooth strong enough, but the crown can hold parts of a cracked tooth. It can also be used to hold a bridge in place. Crowns can also be used to beautify the appearance. They can be applied in such a way as to cover misshapen or poorly colored teeth.

.
WITH GOOD CARE, THE LIFE OF THE CROWN INCREASES

Materials from which crowns are made:

Metal

Zirconium

Porcelain fused to metals

Porcelain fused to zirconia

Zirconia

It is all ceramic. Crowns usually have a life expectancy of at least 7 years. In some cases, this time may take up to 20 years of use or more. In the vast majority of cases, the crown is intact, but a problem may develop in the tooth below it. Therefore, maintaining good oral hygiene, including brushing and flossing, will help the crown last longer.

.
PREPARATION OF THE TOOTH

If you need a crown, you may also need endodontic or root canal treatment on the tooth. Not everyone who needs a crown will need a root canal treatment. Root canal treatment is necessary if the cavity is deep and reaches the pulp of the tooth, where the nerve of the tooth is located.

.
IT MAY BE NECESSARY TO FREE UP SPACE

Before installing a crown, if there is no large part of the tooth left, the dentist may need to create a foundation to support it. A foundation is necessary if large areas of the tooth are rotten, damaged or missing. If the crown is being installed after root canal treatment, the dentist can place the post and fiber foundation. To insert a crown, your dentist pulls the tooth down to make room for the crown. If you buy an all-metal crown, the tooth will need to be removed less often, because these crowns can be made thinner than porcelain or ceramic ones that are fused to metals. After filling the tooth, there are two ways to make a permanent crown. Most crowns require a two-time visit to the dentist.

.
PAY ATTENTION AFTER THE CROWNS ARE GLUED!

You should not feel any discomfort or tenderness after installing a coating. However, if you do not have root canal treatment on your tooth, the nerve will still be affected. Therefore, you may be a little sensitive to the cold. If you notice pain or tenderness when you bite, contact your dentist. Usually this means that the coating is too high. When you bite, you first feel the coating. In this case, the coating needs to be adjusted. This can be easily done. Especially if you have porcelain crown fused with metals, you may notice a thin, dark line next to the gum line on your crown tooth when you look very closely in the mirror. This dark line is the metal of the crown shown through it. This can become a problem as long as it appears on your front teeth. To replace this crown, a completely porcelain or zirconium coating may be required, which does not have a metal base. If the coating does not sit well on the prepared tooth, it is possible that the adhesive will constantly get wet from under the coating. However, the coating may not fall off immediately. These conditions will cause bacteria to leak under the coating and cause tooth decay. If your coating looks loose when chewed, or if there is an unusual odor around the tooth, consult your dentist about it.

Your dentist in Istanbul and Antalya will check your crowns on regular hospital clinic visits.

.
THE BENEFITS OF BRIDGES AND COATINGS

In addition to strengthening a damaged tooth, bridges and veneers between be used to improve the appearance, shape, alignment of the tooth. Cavities left by lost teeth can cause the remaining teeth to slip, resulting in a bad closure. Bridges and crowns prevent this.
