ABOUT MALE BREAST REDUCTION IN TURKEY

.
MALE BREAST REDUCTION SURGERY IS PERFORMED UNDER GENERAL ANESTHESIA AND CAN TAKE ANYWHERE FROM 1-3 HOURS DEPENDING ON THE EXTENT OF THE PROCEDURE NEEDED. THE SURGEON WILL MAKE INCISIONS AROUND THE AREOLA AND/OR UNDER THE BREAST TO REMOVE EXCESS TISSUE AND FAT. IN SOME CASES, LIPOSUCTION MAY ALSO BE USED TO HELP SCULPT THE CHEST. THE RESULTS OF MALE BREAST REDUCTION SURGERY ARE USUALLY PERMANENT, AS LONG AS THE PATIENT MAINTAINS A STABLE WEIGHT AND HEALTHY LIFESTYLE. THE SCARS FROM THE SURGERY WILL FADE OVER TIME AND CAN BE EASILY HIDDEN UNDER CLOTHING. IT’S IMPORTANT TO CONSULT WITH A BOARD-CERTIFIED PLASTIC SURGEON TO DISCUSS YOUR GOALS AND EXPECTATIONS FOR THE SURGERY, AS WELL AS ANY POTENTIAL RISKS AND COMPLICATIONS. OVERALL, MALE BREAST REDUCTION CAN BE A LIFE-CHANGING PROCEDURE FOR MEN WHO ARE SELF-CONSCIOUS ABOUT THEIR ENLARGED BREASTS AND WANT TO ACHIEVE A MORE MASCULINE CHEST CONTOUR..
.

.
MALE BREAST REDUCTION PROCEDURE
.
For the male breast reduction in Turkey usually takes about 2 hours. The surgery is done using general anesthesia but if preferred by the surgeon, then local anesthesia can be used with sedation. The surgical technique used will depend on the amount and composition of excess breast tissue.

The most common techniques used are;

  • Liposuction.
    .
  • Excision.
    .
  • Combination of liposuction & excision.

If an excision technique is used, the incision will be made either on the edge of the areola or in the armpit. The incisions will allow the surgeon to remove excess glandular tissue, fat and skin to sculpt the chest into a more masculine silhouette. If there is a significant amount of excess fat, then it will be removed with Liposuction. Once the breast tissue is removed the incisions will be closed with sutures.
