For In Vitro Fertility treatment Turkey hospitals apart from improving the person birth rate at 100% and may go through procedures as;

Ovary Stimulation – around 7-14 days close to the menstrual cycle, a fertility drug will be given that will stimulate the ovaries to develop multiple mature eggs for fertilization. Patients will also need to take a synthetic hormone like leuprolide or cetrorelix to keep the body from releasing the eggs from too early.

Follicle Development – patients will need to visit the IVF specialist doctor / professor in Antalya Turkey frequently every 3 days to have blood hormone levels checked and ultrasound measurements of the ovaries will be done. This allows for the development of the follicles to be monitored.

Gathering the Eggs – patients will be given anesthetic and an ultrasound probe will be inserted through the vagina to check the ovaries and see the follicles. A thin needle is inserted through the vaginal wall to remove the eggs from the follicles. Around 8 to 15 eggs will be retrieved.

Fertilization – an embryologist, will examine the eggs before they are combined with the partner’s sperm and incubated overnight. If the quality of sperm is poor or fertilization was unsuccessful during previous cycles then a technique called Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injections (ICSI) will be used, which is done by a single sperm being injected directly into each mature egg.

Developing Embryos – around 3 days after the egg retrieval, eggs that were successfully fertilized will become 6 to 10 celled embryos. A few of these embryos will be will become blastocysts with a fluid filled cavity and tissues that are beginning to separate into placenta and baby by the fifth day.

Embryo Selection – the embryologist will select the most viable embryo to be placed into the uterus between 3-5 days after the egg retrieval. If there are any extra embryos, they can be frozen for use in the future IVF Cycles.

Planting the Embryos – depending on the patients age and diagnosis, between one to five embryos will be placed in the uterus by a thin catheter inserted through the patient’s cervix. During this procedure ere is mostly no use for anesthesia.

Successful Implantation – if the treatment is successful, an embryo implants in the uterine wall and carries on to grow into a baby. There is a higher chance of pregnancy if there is more than embryo is transferred to the patient including a multiple pregnancy. Patients are able to have a pregnancy test around 2 weeks after the embryos are placed into the patient’s uterus.

.

.
