FUE (FOLLICULAR UNIT EXTRACTION) PROCEDURE
The patient’s hair will be trimmed short so the surgeon is able to visualize and work optimally on the scalp and on each donor follicle. The surgeon will start the hair transplant FUE by giving the patient local anesthesia to numb the area, and then using an automated FUE system device, the surgeon will remove follicular units individually from the scalp. The device will make a tiny circular incision around the follicular unit to isolate the graft. The scalp is prepared with high-powered stereomicroscopes.
