There are even those who take a 24-hour flight for hair transplant in Turkey

People come from all over the world to Turkey, which has made a great breakthrough in health tourism, especially for hair transplant. Istanbul is located in the center of Turkish hair transplant tourism. The streets of the city are full of Asian and Europeans with scraped hair.

Turkey has become one of the most preferred countries in the world in plastic surgery, especially hair transplant, in recent years. The health tourism representatives, who told about the point reached by hair transplantation tourism, which brings in 2 billion dollars of income per year, draw attention to the danger of hair transplantation and beauty services under the stairs.

President of the Turkish Medical Tourism Association TÜSATTER, Dr. is also the founder of a center where robotic hair transplant is performed. Dr. who stated that Turkey’s health tourism started with hair transplant and that there was a serious interest in Istanbul from the Middle East and the Arabian peninsula in the first period. The tailors described the point as follows:

Someone came by private jet

“In the last 5-6 years, more European people have started coming than Arabs. When things were done around the world with the investments made in health, doctors appeared around the world. In America, they can’t plant more than a thousand 500-2 thousand 500 roots. The technique, the number, the point of view are different. We easily transplant 5 thousand-5 thousand 500 roots in 1 day. People with business towers in America, textile kings come from India, Pakistan on their private jets. Germany is leading the way. We can say that hundreds of thousands of people are flocking from Europe. Even coming from Australia, it’s 24 hours, but even from there they come for hair transplant. even 80-90 year olds come for hair transplant. Women are also coming to Turkey for hair treatment at the moment.

Robots will become widespread

Hair transplant prices in Turkey are around 2 thousand 500 to 3 thousand dollars. European good brands do not make less than 8-10 thousand euros, and brand doctors in America do not make less than 10-15 thousand dollars. We have produced Turkey’s own hair transplant robot. A robotic system called DHI is used in our clinic. There is less risk of bleeding in this system, transplant is easier and the patient monitors himself during the operation. Thanks to this, we do 5 thousand root transplant in a day and we have been providing service for 1.5 years. This system is national and domestic. We developed it with Turkish engineers.

The project to sell abroad is currently in TUBITAK. We will gradually distribute this robot to the industry. I transplant the hair of one of our esteemed ministers. Fortunately, someone came for encouragement because I brought it up to him. The added value of health tourism last year reached $ 4 billion. We need to increase this to $ 10 billion first and then to $ 20 billion. We host about 200 guests per month. Our biggest problem is that there are too many places that we call under stairs, and there is a relentless struggle to break the price here. If we want our health tourism to grow, we need to get out of our life under the stairs.”

Only a certified doctor should sow

According transplant transplant Units Regulation of the Ministry of Health, hair transplant application should only be performed by doctors who have ‘hair transplant practitioner certificate’. Hair transplant assistant practitioner certificate can be obtained by non-medical health professionals. Chairman of TÜSATTER, Dr. said, “If you are not a doctor with competence in this regard, you cannot do hair transplant. Beauticians, anesthesia technicians, emergency medical technicians, nurses do not have the authority to do these things alone. It is coming to our ears that 50 percent of hair transplant centers in Istanbul are currently performing procedures without a doctor sometimes,” he said.

Under-stairs clinics will cause harm

President of the Health Tourism Association, said that people who help the doctor after a certain period of time, ‘I learned this job’, and said that hair transplant is done in places under the stairs, noting that:

“No matter how good Turkey is in this regard, the problems will continue as long as the under-stairs enterprises are not closed. We are trying to educate our health tourism agencies, doctors, institutions and organizations by providing health tourism trainings. We support the promotion of those who do the job with the broadness of our overseas portfolio. Turkey comes to the fore with the education level and skills of our physicians. The most preferred destinations are hair transplant in Istanbul, Antalya and Ankara. Patients coming from Northern Iraq to places in the Southeastern Anatolia region have the potential for health tourism.

In the same way, Thrace, Greece accepts too many patients from Bulgaria and the Balkans.

Stay with love.
