THE INFLUX OF TOURISTS IN ANTALYA! IT HAS EXCEEDED 1 MILLION

The number of holiday and medical tourists arriving in Antalya by air has exceeded 1 million, an increase of 147 percent compared to the same period last year.

Antalya, the center of attention of tourists with its historical and natural beauties, cultural structures, ancient cities as well as its sea, sand, sun, medical tourism data for the year 2022 have been announced.

The uptrend in Antalya, one of the important tourist centers of the Mediterranean, in despite the war between Russia and Ukraine.

AN INCREASE OF 245 PERCENT IN THE FIRST 23 DAYS

2022 January 1 – April 23, the number of tourists visiting the city by air reached 1 million 18 thousand 246, according to the data of the Antalya Governorate Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism.

Compared to the same period last year, there was a 147 percent increase. In the first 23 days of April, the increase was 245 percent compared to the same period in 2021.

The number of tourists visiting the city by air in the first 4-month period of 2022 has greatly exceeded the years 2020 and 2021.
