FAKE MEDICINE IS SPREADING DANGER

Anyone who wants to lose weight is taking it, or someone who is looking for aphrodisiac. The ’under-stairs’ products have spread like snow. Turkish expert of the business warned: there are no fake drugs in Turkish pharmacies…

One of the most common methods used by those who play with our health is low quality ingredient fake drugs.

Especially those who manufacture and market counterfeit drugs that are difficult to find or expensive on the market, do not stop deceiving people who are waiting to get back to health.

A fake drug with a market value of 7.5 million pounds was seized in Istanbul last week. In addition to the drugs used to treat Covid-19, 451 thousand 217 drugs used to burn fat, weaken, gain weight and develop hormones were also found in these fake products that were caught.

.
OUR HEALTH IS IGNORED

During the pandemic, the fake drug was not stopped; “The drug should be taken from pharmacies under the supervision of a pharmacist, not from unauthorized places or people. There are no fake drugs in our pharmacies,” he said. Expressing that the market of counterfeit medicines brings high profits.

.
SLIMMING DRUGS ARE A BIG RISK

“The first of the fake drugs is slimming drugs. These drugs can be produced and sold under the stairs. The sale of these products, the source, manufacturer, storage conditions of which are unclear, carries great risks to public health. The aphrodisiac-acting drugs, hair products and hormones are widespread in Turkey social media on the internet and TV channels”

.
IT EVEN LEADS TO DEATH

“Counterfeit drugs, ineffectiveness, incomplete treatment can cause unexpected side effects, poisoning and even death. That is why our compatriots should definitely purchase their medicines from pharmacies. The medicines in our pharmacies are monitored and controlled by Turkish Ministry of Health through the Drug Tracking System. On top of the actual drug box is its square root, and these square codes can be controlled by mobile phones.”

.
7 PERCENT OF THE DRUGS ARE FAKE

According to the World Health Organization’s determinations, 7-8 percent of the drugs in the world are fake. A wide range of counterfeit drugs have been detected in the US, Canada and UK ranging from lipid-lowering to cancer drugs.
