TIME IS IMPORTANT IN TREATMENT

For this, a clot-dissolving drug called thrombolytic can be administered intravenously in the first 4.5 hours. Although the upper limit of treatment is 4.5 hours, the sooner it is given, the greater the chances of success. It is possible to open a blocked vessel with angiography in the first 6 hours and in suitable patients up to the first 24 hours. In this method, the clot is removed by entering the artery.
