REGENERATING POWER OF LIGHT THE AMAZING BENEFITS OF LED LIGHT THERAPY ON SKIN

Skin health is very important for everyone at any time of life. Especially for people who work at an intense pace of city life, the protection of the facial area is of particular importance. When factors such as sun, air pollution, irregular diet and low water consumption are added to the effects of time, the skin may have a pale and unhealthy appearance, especially in the face area. What do you need to do? Of course, we need to protect our skin at any time with special attention.

Here we dermatologists in Turkey recommend the best solutions for skin health and especially anti aging treatments in such cases. These recommendations, the first of which is to implement healthy lifestyle rituals, contain different methods with the possibilities of medical technology.

.
HOW WAS LED LIGHT THERAPY BORN?

I will tell you about LED Light Therapy this week. This treatment, which has recently been very preferred all over the world and has made us laugh with its results, is really worth studying.

The beginning story of LED Light Therapy is based on NASA’s design to grow plants on shuttles in space studies. The success of the sailors in the US Navy in the treatment of damaged muscle tissues and wounds after positive results obtained in plants also inspired use of LED Light Therapy for anti-aging treatments on the skin.

.
IT IS MADE WITH THE HELP OF RED, BLUE AND YELLOW LIGHT

LED Light Therapy is a maintenance therapy that is performed with the help of red, blue and yellow wavelengths of light that are easily absorbed by the skin at various wavelengths. Although LED Light Therapy has a primary purpose such as preventing aging formations on the skin, it is also safely used in acne, scar and anti-inflammatory treatments.

Red, blue or yellow light wavelengths according to your skin’s requirement. Red is used to delay aging, blue is used to treat acne, and yellow is preferred for the regeneration of scars and skin.

LED Light Therapy is performed by wearing special glasses. The procedure takes about 20 minutes. The treatment is very safe. It does not contain any ultraviolet rays. During the procedure, there is no pain, soreness is not felt, and there are no side effects after it. On the contrary, 20 minutes spent lying down in a dark environment under the light has a relaxing effect. Therefore, it can be used easily on a regular basis. And after the procedure, everyday life is resumed immediately.

.
IT HEALS AND CALMS

As we can use LED Light Therapy treatment alone, we also use it to achieve a soothing effect after a different procedure applied to the skin. For example, we also prefer to calm the skin and support the treatment after chemical peeling or laser treatment according to the needs of the person. Another nice feature of the application is that it can be used safely for all skin types.

LED Light Therapy is a repeatable process. It allows us to achieve a healthy appearance on the skin when applied regularly once a week for about 10 weeks. Treatment can be repeated at any time.

.
RED LIGHT

To treat the epidermis, which is the outer layer of the skin, red or infrared light is used. When light is applied to the skin, the epidermis absorbs it, and then stimulates collagen proteins.

In theory, more collagen means your skin looks smoother and fuller, which can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The red LED is thought to reduce inflammation while improving circulation, which in turn gives the skin a healthier glow.

.
BLUE LIGHT

Blue Led Light Therapy, on the other hand, targets the sebaceous glands. The sebaceous glands are necessary for the health of your skin and hair so that the hair does not experience dryness. However, these glands can sometimes become overactive, causing oily skin and acne. The Blue LED Light therapy targets these sebaceous glands and makes them less active. This, in turn, helps to form fewer pimples. Blue light can also kill the bacteria that cause acne under the skin, which can help treat severe acne, including cysts and nodules. LED Light Therapy can also be used on the neck and chest, other areas that tend to show signs of aging.

.
YELLOW LIGHT

LED Light Therapy is mainly used to increase collagen and tissues. It can soften your skin and reduce the appearance caused by age spots, acne and fine wrinkles. It also regulates the blood circulation of the skin. Detox is effective. Soothes skin rashes. It can be used for early shingles suppression.

.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THERAPY?

LED light therapy is noninvasive, you can start your daily activities when your treatment is over. The results will be more noticeable after you finish all your sessions.

But even after reaching the recommended number of sessions, the results are not permanent. Because your skin cells may lose some collagen over time and you may start to see signs of aging again. For this reason, it is recommended that you repeat maintenance treatments every few months or as recommended by your provider.`.
