INTEREST IN EYELID AESTHETICS IS GROWING

Turkey Medicals – expressing that the interest in eyelid aesthetics has increased in recent years in Turkey, the Plastic Surgeon Op. Doctor says that eyelid aesthetics creates a change in expression in both the eyes and the face.

If there is an excess of skin on the upper eyelid, fatigue is felt in the eyes. The weight may collapse and there may be difficulty reading. A low or frowning eyebrow may look hard, sad, or tired.

Eyelid aesthetics in Istanbul and Antalya is actually considered together with eyelid aesthetics in recent years. The lid should be evaluated not as the skin is worth noting, but with the posture of the eyebrows and eyelids, the structure of the eyebrows, crow’s feet, eye bags, the pit under the eyes, the bruise under the eyes, all of them together.

Excess skin on the eyelids can be structural and familial. It usually also occurs under the influence of aging.

If deformation has occurred, it should be removed by operation, excess fat that causes bagging should be removed and the muscle structure should be corrected. These operations vary from person to person.

Sometimes it may be enough just to take the skin, while sometimes it may be necessary to intervene in all possible deformations. It can be performed with local or general anesthesia. Stitches are removed in two to three days, and healing occurs in four to six days.

On the fourth day after the operation, the patient easily returns to his work and social life. The upper eyelid is the area where there are almost no scars left in plastic surgery. In the same operation, sometimes interventions on the sides of the middle face or cheeks may also be required. In these areas, operations can be performed for goose feet.

Eyelid aesthetics can sometimes be performed only on the lower, only on the upper, and sometimes on both lids at the same time. The muscle of the upper eyelid skin begins due to the thinning of the muscles at a later age.

Downward sagging on the forehead and eyebrows also causes the eyelid to become abundant. If there is a lot of dimple, deformation or bruise under the eye, it can be ensured that the excess fat we remove from the eyelids is placed in these areas and supported by this area.

Especially with age, deformations such as sagging downwards, cleft cheeks, and tissue pulling down are often observed around the eyes due to the effect of gravity.

To make this area look fuller, supplementing it with hyaluronic acid or filling it with oil gives it a more youthful dynamic expression.
