HOW CHILDREN WILL LEARN BETTER IF THEY HAVE FUN READING BOOKS

Reading books is an important activity for people of all ages. Especially for children who have just discovered many things and are constantly improving, it is even more valuable. However, some children are very comfortable with the habit of reading, while others have difficulty with it. Children should be offered the choice of, learning with fun.

.
CHILDREN LEARN BETTER IF THEY HAVE FUN READING BOOKS

A child should determine why he will read before he starts reading. A child whose reading purpose is not clear proceeds without knowing where to go, like a ship whose route is not clear. Setting this goal makes it easier to make reading a part of everyday life. There can be no single purpose or reason for reading books. Books can be read for the purposes of learning, understanding, wondering, relaxing, socializing, popularity, getting to know, harmony, as well as for ‘having fun’. Because it is the right of children to have fun, and the vast majority of them learn more comfortably while having fun.

.
DON’T LOOK AT EVERY BOOK AS A MUST BENEFIT

The moment the word fun with books is passed in the same sentence, everyone in the community can immediately think of publications with humorous content. But it is necessary to look at this issue from a broader point of view. Because in some cases, it is also possible to have fun with didactic content. For example, when a child is reading a lyrical poem, focusing on a text written in a cute language, the intensity of feelings experienced by the author can also entertain him well. We should not look at every book as a benefit. Children may prefer books that parents or educators do not find important because they want to have fun. These books will be the first and most important steps that children will take towards getting into the habit of reading.

.
FORGET WHAT YOU KNOW ABOUT READING BOOKS

Having fun is not a luxury, it is a necessity that is in life. Therefore, this feeling should be satisfied with books. By sanctifying the book, it is not correct to remove it from its entertaining format. Because children can learn by having fun, which allows them to develop their feelings and ways of understanding the world. Most of us have a TV in the kitchen of our house. We index one ear there by turning on the TV while cooking or eating. Whereas, on the contrary, we make reading books a special, sacred business. We set rules for ourselves such as ‘We should concentrate fully while reading a book, we should connect to it, the environment should be quiet, the child should focus fully’. Forget about what you know about reading books. In the environment where the child is studying, turn down the volume of the TV or the radio on which you are listening to music, and if the child has a high auditory perception, turn it off completely. For fun, take a reading material with you and the child. Novel, cartoon, humor book, poetry book, fashion magazine. A reading material that can entertain you. You can mix the soup in the pot with your other hand while reading a book with one hand.

.
YOUR CHILD MODELS YOU

As a result, on the one hand, you cooked and on the other hand, you read books. Reading a book has entered into your life, it has become confused with the usual routine, it has become natural, like breathing. Naturally, it turns into a state of need. Needs, on the other hand, are constantly waiting to be met. After reading a cartoon magazine while you are cooking and preparing a meal accompanied by laughter, this magazine becomes the product that your children will be waiting in line to read. Similar examples will start to come dec your children’s daily activities. On a ferry trip, your children’s hands reach for their books while you open and read your book. A child who sees that you are taking a book with you on your way will definitely put a book in his bag. A teenager who reads a book even while standing on the bus sets an example. Academic books are for learning purposes, so we can devote a separate time to reading. But readings aimed at understanding and having fun should be included in our lives.

.
HAVING FUN TEACHING IN BOOKS

It takes on the spirit of the children who will read my books while they are writing, They can think about how they can have fun while learning a topic. With the smile created on the children’s faces, it will exist in their educational lives. Children are our mirror, we can touch their lives by entertaining, endearing, attracting their attention in the right direction in order to see the future clean and healthy.
