PLASTIC SURGEON TO EXAMINE BOTOX DEATH
- In the investigation into the death of K.B. 37, who died after leaving the beauty center where he went to Beylikdüzü to do aesthetics, the prosecutor’s office sent the file to the expert.
.
- KB, 38, who went to a beauty center in Beylikduzu, Istanbul, on September to get Botox, had a heart attack. B, who was left semi-unconscious at his home by Istanbul beauty center employees, was taken to the Turkish hospital by his father when his condition worsened at night, but despite all the efforts made, B, who could not be saved, died.
.
DOCTOR AND ISTANBUL CENTER OWNER ARRESTED
- After a complaint from B’s father, an investigation was launched by the prosecutor general’s Office of Büyükçekmece against the officials of the beauty center, which turned out to be unlicensed. As part of the investigation, Turkey doctor O.O., who performed the Botox procedure, and E.D. the owner of the center, were arrested and sent to prison for “causing death by neglect”.
.
THEY BLAMED EACH OTHER
- According to the information received, the doctor who performed the procedure said in a statement that he was not responsible, saying that the responsible person was the owner of the firm. The owner of the company said that he did not know about the procedures applied in his statement, suggesting that Doctor O.O. was responsible for the procedures.

IN FILE EXPERT
- After taking suspicious statements and collecting evidence, the Turkish Istanbul prosecution is waiting for a report from the Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the cause of K.B.’s death. But since it would take a long time to prepare a detailed autopsy report, the prosecution sent the file to the expert to avoid wasting time.
.
- The expert, a retired Turkish plastic surgeon, will examine the file and give his opinion to the prosecutor’s office about whether the materials used in the Botox process are appropriate and whether the center is operated in accordance with the rules. The suspects are expected to be prosecuted following the forthcoming coroner’s report and the coroner’s Office report.
