WHAT IS THE CAUSE OF LOWER BACK PAIN DURING PREGNANCY?

Low back pain is a fairly common complaint during pregnancy. 3 out of every 4 women suffer from low back pain during pregnancy. After the baby is born in Turkey, all pain largely disappears. There are different factors that cause pain at each stage of pregnancy.

Turkey Medicals member Antalya Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Specialist the Assoc. Doctor. gave important information about the subject;

Excessive weight gain during pregnancy and softening of the supporting tissues due to the increased effect of the hormone progesterone can cause pain in the spine. During pregnancy, low back pain is very common, but the cause of these pains is rarely caused by a herniated disc. In patients with a hernia before pregnancy, there may be an increase in pain or progression in the degree of hernia due to a change in the body’s center of gravity with the growth of the abdomen later in pregnancy. Doing light exercises in the first months of pregnancy ,acclimating the body to pregnancy, provides great benefits in the following months.

.
LOWER BACK PAIN DURING PREGNANCY DOES NOT MEAN A HERNIA

– Post-pregnancy pain is often greatly reduced.

– But treatment with examination and harmless methods during pregnancy and, if necessary, postpartum treatment should continue.

– It is considered normal to experience pain a few days after birth, depending on the way you give birth during childbirth.

– Painkillers are also not recommended for pain due to a needle applied to the waist during spinal or epidural anesthesia in cesarean section births. Other methods are considered appropriate.

– These pains can also pass spontaneously in a few days or weeks.

Back pain years after birth may have nothing to do with these needles. Expectant mothers take your baby in your arms with health, remember that the better you look at yourself during pregnancy, the more useful you will be to your new born baby.
