HOW CAN THE POWER OF THOUGHT POSSIBLE HEAL US?

It has been debated since ancient times, ‘are mind and body decoupled systems; or is it a whole with a mutual interaction between them?’ the discussion has now come to an end. The body and mind are parts of a whole that mutually affect each other. The conducted scientific researches, case studies and clinical observations reveal both healing and worsening effects of the functioning of the mind (thought structure) on the body. Turkey Medicals member and Expert Psychologist in Antalya, shared more information to our readers and patients.

It is a proven fact that the psychological state of an individual: in addition to affecting the relationships he has established with himself and his environment and the satisfaction he receives from life, it also plays a big role directly in his physical health. All conflicts trapped in the unconscious express themselves through the body. Symptoms are cries that the body makes to ask for help; it is the message that the body sends to the mind and soul that says that I cannot cope with the feelings that you are pressing on the person on my own.

Currently, as a result of all the examinations of modern medical doctors; if no concrete cause for the patient’s symptoms is found, his condition is said to be psychological and he is referred to mental health specialists. It is known that we define as ’psychosomatic’; that is, conflicts and mental disorders in the unconscious manifest themselves with bodily symptoms (allergies, eczema, chronic pain and fatigue).

A patient NN shared how he started walking without problems thanks to visualization (detailed imagination) in his mind, which he did at the moment between sleep and wakefulness, which provides mental purification and brings consciousness to a calm state, when he was told that medical treatments were not useful and that his leg with gangrene should now be decapitated. The miraculous healing state that Rinpoche performs with his thoughts and imagination at the time of meditation, which he does steadily every day, has also been scientifically studied and the healing effect of his thinking power has been proven. At the same time, today, patients are given the image of walking, talking and living as before every day for a certain period of time and in great detail in order to achieve the desired state of health in cases that occur after accidents. The most important point here is to portray something that we want to happen in the mind in as much detail as possible while it is being animated, and to feel the feelings that we will feel when it happens in the physical world at that moment. That is, there is almost no possibility that the situation that you want to happen with the awareness that it has already happened will not happen in the physical dimension when you concentrate on the feelings that you will experience when it happens without it happening yet. This is not philosophy or spiritualism, as Albert Einstein mentioned; it is quantum physics.

‘Everything is energy, and everything consists only of this. When you adjust to the frequency of the reality you want to have; there is nothing to do anymore; that reality belongs to you. There is no other way out of this. This is physics.’ Albert Einstein

The department of psychology takes a similar approach to feeling good. Proven and internationally accepted approach to cognitive behavioral therapy and schema therapy, which is one of the therapeutic schools, with the client’s dysfunctional thinking patterns that do not reflect the reality is ingrained in the house he lived in during childhood and adolescence; however, incompatible working in their faith; and at that moment, more functional ones so realistic and appropriate to aims to transform the living conditions.

In the 1970s, oncology and radiology specialist discovered the healing effect of the visualization technique on cancer patients. This imaging study, which is also applied today, involves bringing internal resources to life by imagining that cancer cells are being thrown out by the self. The patient is asked to portray that his immune system is as strong as a tsunami and his disease is almost as powerless as a sand castle. Your immune system, which is imaged in the power of a tsunami, can defeat any disease that you image as weak as a sand castle with this message that is animated like a sand castle and sent from the brain to the cells. Explaining that the most optimistic patients have made positive progress in the cancer process, Dr. also clearly shows us the importance of thoughts. It has also been observed that optimistic individuals have strong immunity and recover faster with surgical interventions. Psychology, immunology and brain science; they were collected under the name of psychoneuroimmunology and all these healing states were presented as opportunities provided by the holistic approach.

A state of optimism is a structure of thought, and a person can, if he wants, get rid of his pessimism and adopt a realistic and appropriate optimism. It is very valuable to emphasize realism because there are many different options and potential different consequences in every event that happens. That is, it is important for health not to ignore the fact that ‘it won’t happen anyway’ is a potential that can happen all the time, which is a good option. In the world, there is a field of vibration and energy that everything emits. Human thought, on the other hand, creates the most intense vibrations and thanks to this intense frequency it emits, it can also pull the results in the direction it wants. It is possible that we can achieve our dreams by making active efforts for this by wanting it sufficiently and steadily.

Paris Institute of Psychosomatics, Prof. has revealed that the ability to regulate thoughts and emotions that we aim to bring to the client in therapy, together with the ability to revive well in cooperation, increases the strength of the person’s immune system and the joy of life. If you can’t change your circumstances, you can change your attitudes about that situation. It doesn’t seem very realistic to expect different results by doing the same things, does it? If you are having trouble thinking optimistically, regulating emotions and thoughts, and using animation techniques, you can contact a mental health professional. Expecting to have come to the edge of the abyss to see a mental health professional, or however, thoughts that support can be obtained when entering such a cycle are now outdated and very unhealthy.
