NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS FOR A HEALTHY SMILE

We all have a to-do list for the new Year. We focus on things like getting a new car, losing weight, exercising more, being healthier, happier. But the new Year is also a time to focus on small things that can have big implications. That is why the new Year can be the occasion to take care of all existing or possible dental problems. In addition, when we take this opportunity correctly, we can only benefit our overall health by increasing our dental health.

1- More healthy Turkish foods

Reduce sugar and decide to add more healthy foods to your diet to increase the benefit of your diet to your teeth. Dairy products are rich in calcium, so they are great food for your teeth. Foods with a high fiber content also increase the production of saliva, removing plaque and other food particles. Make the decision to eat more hard fruits now!

2- Visit your dentist in Turkey regularly

Regular visits to your dentist are one of the easiest investments you can make in dental health. Visiting your dentist every six months, you can be sure that you have a healthy and attractive smile. When your dental problems are diagnosed early, you can avoid long-term dental problems that can be easily solved. Make these appointments now!

3- Brush and floss regularly

This is the simplest decision to make and has some of the biggest returns. By brushing your teeth twice a day, at least two minutes at a time, and flossing in the evening, you can make a valuable impact on your teeth and overall health. Make sure your toothbrush is new and your oral care needs can be easily found in your bathroom.

4- Stop using tobacco

Tobacco leaves stains on your teeth and damages your gums. Its frequent use can lead to cancer. To improve overall health, give up tobacco and tobacco products. Look for ways to help you quit tobacco

5- Laugh, laugh, laugh!

A smile is usually the first thing people notice, so it’s important to have an attractive smile. If your overall dental health is good, have your dentist perform restorative or cosmetic procedures.

Orthodontics in Antalya Turkey, porcelain veneers or implant treatments with transparent plates can make your smile become better. In addition, if you have yellowed teeth, you can get a happier smile with a whitening treatment.
