When you look happy, you draw a more friendly, honest and reliable image. The first thing people will pay attention to in people they have just met is a smile. The smile not only deconstructs barriers between you and the opposite side, but also reflects the person’s self-confidence

Experts emphasize that laughing has many psychological and physical benefits. Even just laughing for a minute is worth 45 minutes of relaxation. Those who have healthy teeth smile with more confidence. The smile, the ability of a person to express a variety of emotions by the structure and movement of teeth and lips, can determine how well a person can function in society. Of course, the importance attached to a beautiful smile is not new. The search for beauty can be traced back to the most ancient civilizations.

.
THE GOALS OF SMILE DESIGN

The purpose of an aesthetic make-up is to develop a peaceful and stable chewing system in which teeth, tissues, muscles, skeletal structures and joints all function in harmony muscle. When planning the treatment of aesthetic cases, it is very important that the smile design cannot be isolated from a comprehensive approach to patient care. A successful, healthy and functional result requires an understanding of the relationship between all supporting oral structures, including muscles, bones, joints, gum tissues and closure muscle Harmonizing an aesthetic smile requires a perfect integration of the composition of the face and teeth. The composition of the face includes hard and soft tissues of the face. Dental composition is more specifically related to teeth and gum tissues. The design of a smile should always include an assessment and analysis of the composition of both the face and the teeth.

.
FACIAL COMPOSITION IS VERY IMPORTANT

Facial beauty is based on the standard aesthetic principles, which include proper alignment, symmetry and facial proportion. Analysis, evaluation and treatment planning for facial aesthetics usually involves a multidisciplinary approach, including the orthodontics, orthognathic surgery, periodontal therapy, cosmetic dentistry and plastic surgery. Thus, the aesthetic approach to patient care creates the best dental and facial beauty. But in our clinical practice, we limit our smile makeup only to the composition of the teeth, unless there is an obvious discrepancy on our face.

There are two facial features that play a big role in smile design:

1- The interpupillary line. (This is the line that passes through the eyeballs when the eyes are facing forward)

2- Lips. The horizontal and vertical dimensions for the ideal face in the classical sense are as follows:
horizontal:

The width of the face should be the width of five eyes.

The distance between the eyebrows and the chin should be equal to the width of the face.
vertical:

The height of the face is divided into three equal parts from the front head to the eyebrow line, from the eyebrow line to the base of the nose and from the base of the nose to the base of the chin.

The full face is divided into two parts, the eyes are the midline.

The lower part of the face from the base of the nose to the chin is divided into two parts, the upper lip makes up one third of it, and the lower lip and chin make up two thirds.

.
IT IS AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE FIRST IMPRESSION

The first thing people pay attention to in people they have just met is a smile. A smile is a complement to all other good qualities. Now many people have realized that bad-looking teeth give the wrong messages in their work and social life. Studies have shown that most people believe that smiling is a very valuable thing, that an expressive smile makes them more attractive to the opposite sex, and more importantly, that a repulsive smile damages opportunities in life and opportunities in careers. Because smiling makes people feel happier and increases self-confidence. When you look happy, you draw a more friendly, honest and reliable image.

Many people in business have understood the importance of this and have improved themselves on the smile. The smile not only deconstructs the barriers between you and the opposite side, but also reflects the person’s self-confidence. Therefore, it is a common belief that people who smile more find it easier to get a job and rise quickly in their careers.
