PAY ATTENTION TO THE BEAUTY CENTERS UNDER THE STAIRS

Turkey Medicals member and Turkish Specialist in Skin and Venereal Diseases, Dr. warned against the risks in the beauty center, where doctors do not take part. “These patients come to us as a result, maybe we can recover some of them, but there are permanent complications in some of our patients,” Dr. said, speaking about faulty practices in the beauty centers under the stairs.

The number of beauty centers in Istanbul and Antalya that perform many different procedures, such as laser hair removal and skin care, is increasing every day. Operations performed in places that have not received specialized medical and specialized education often cause a lot of problems. Those who have been victimized for reasons such as burns on their bodies also complain about beauty centers.

.
EVERY PROCEDURE PERFORMED ON SKIN SHOULD BE PERFORMED BY A SPECIALIST PHYSICIAN

A Specialist in Skin and Venereal Diseases, Dr. drew attention to the risks in the beauty center, where specialized doctors do not take part. Emphasizing that every skin procedure should be performed by a physician and people with specialized education, Dr. said that due to some legal gaps and lack of supervision, beauty centers have made a share in them, and not all transactions are legal, referring to the fact that they have done it in a way that is not legal:

“A dermatologist and a Turkish plastic surgeon need to do everything that is done to the skin. There are also very serious grievances in this regard. For example, a simple error in the filling application can lead to blindness and distress. Or an application to edge of the lip can lead to an asymmetrical lips.”

.
PERMANENT COMPLICATIONS OCCUR IN SOME OF THE PATIENTS

Dr., who also stated that many different products that are not approved by the Ministry of Health have started to be used in such places because their price is cheaper, said that such places, which act with the idea of how much profit I can make, create serious grievances in patients.

Referring to the fact that these patients came to them, they were able to recover some of them, but some of them had permanent complications, Specialist Dr. said:

“Such places, acting on the idea of how much profit I can make from this business without taking care of human health, create serious grievances in patients with many products used without the approval of the Turkish ministry. When such complications occur, these centers are not able to solve them. Of course, in the end, it comes to us, maybe we can recover some of it, but there are permanent complications in some of our patients. Blindness, rotting at the tip of the nose, these are irreversible complications.”

.
THERE ARE SERIOUS PROBLEMS WITH THE SUPERVISION OF BEAUTY CENTERS

Turkish Specialist in Skin and Venereal Diseases, Dr. also mentioned that the inspections of beauty centers have not been done enough, “We have applied for this through our associations many times, but we also see that there are serious problems, especially with the inspection of beauty centers that perform these operations. But they are still very comfortable doing transactions that they should not do legally, which is a crime to do,” he said.
