WHAT YOUR TEETH ARE TRYING TO TELL YOU ABOUT HEALTH IN TURKEY

Very often our body tries to tell us something. The mouth and teeth are no exception. When something doesn’t go right in your mouth, something might be going wrong somewhere else. Here are four health problems that can manifest as a dental condition.

Anxiety: Stressed or angry people often gnash their teeth (bruxism). Although bruxism can be caused by dental fillings or misalignment of the teeth from birth, it can also be for behavioral reasons. In this case, your teeth are especially sensitive to cold, causing you to feel pain, they try to tell you that something is wrong.

Cancer: Mouth ulcers are usually caused by burns or bites and only last for a few days. But if they do not heal, they can become serious. Ulcers, bumps, or other irregularities on your lips, gums, tongue, and inside your mouth can be signs of oral cancer. You should pay attention to white/red spots, persistent ulcers, loss of sensation, and hard tissues. These changes in color and texture are signals that try to tell you that there is a dangerous condition in the mouth.

Malnutrition: The type of food we consume in Turkey is an important factor in tooth decay. Therefore, if you are losing your teeth or have a lot of caries that requires filling, you should consult a nutritionist about balanced nutrition. You may be consuming too many sugary foods or other foods that are bad for your teeth and body. They try to tell you about this situation with black spots on your teeth, dimples that form and severe pain after eating.

Diabetes Mellitus: An increase in the number of caries and gum disease can also be a sign of high blood sugar. Turkish people with foreigners, diabetes have a high risk of oral complications, so it can be a sign that you are at risk of diabetes.

Turkey Medicals, “The best way to maintain a healthy mouth is to contact your dentist in Turkey regularly. You should have your dental health checked by making regular appointments every 6 months and starting preventive measures or treatments by diagnosing possible problems at an early stage,” was said.
