PAY ATTENTION TO THE APPLICATION OF SERUM AT HOME!

People who have to be in public environments, especially during the winter season, face the risk of infection-related diseases. Antalya MedicalPark Hospital Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Specialist Assoc., who drew attention to the importance of taking vitamin supplements orally or intravenously for faster and more effective results in strengthening immunity to the risk of disease. Dr., gave the following information about these applications: “Supplements such as glutathione, vitamin C, ozone therapy, alpha lipoic acid, made with the right planning under the supervision of a specialist physician, strengthen the body’s defense mechanisms. Ozone therapy, which has strong effects on the musculoskeletal system, glutathione due to its antioxidant source, high doses of vitamin C, known to have an effect on fighting diseases such as colds and flu, alpha lipoic acid, which contributes to healthy blood vessels and cell regeneration, can help muscles protect against the harmful effects of the season when administered under the supervision of a specialist doctor, with personalized planning, paying attention to the correct dose adjustments. The most important point to pay attention to; it is that these supplements are not taken unconsciously, without the supervision of a specialist doctor, without knowledge about the person’s general health status.”

.
THERE ARE MANY ILLEGAL PRACTICES BEING CARRIED OUT

Assoc. emphasizing that the application of immune serums and vitamin supplements, which have become popular recently, in a home environment, without going to medical institutions, can lead to various risks. Dr. The petitioner said: “It is not right that these applications, which vary from person to person and may cause allergic reactions, should be applied by any healthcare provider who can open a vascular tract to people who have not undergone tests and examinations. Home health care is very misunderstood in our society. In general, injections are not performed in home health care applications, serum is not inserted. Since all these applications have a legal responsibility, they must be carried out by authorized persons in health centers licensed by the Ministry of Health. Home health care should not go beyond procedures such as wound care, dressing, probe insertion. The lack of sufficient technical equipment and expert supervision to intervene in the event of any complications may lead to consequences up to life risks.”

.
TAKING SUPPLEMENTS WITHOUT CONTROL CAN CAUSE ALLERGIC REACTIONS

I have done this topic many times before, Assoc., who emphasizes that it should not be approached with the logic that nothing will happen. Dr. the petitioner said, “The fact that a person has had these applications done without problems at home or in any hospital so far does not mean that he will not have problems after that. The active ingredients in the content of these vitamins and serums may not be needed in a person’s metabolism after a while, and continuing to take supplements without control may cause unwanted allergic reactions,” he said.

.
NOT EVERYONE WHO WANTS TO GET A VITAMIN SHOT CAN

Assoc. stating that a separate treatment protocol is determined for each patient and planning is made with prescriptions written specifically for the patient. Dr. The petitioner said, “Specialist physicians perform the necessary tests and examinations before planning a treatment for patients in hospital conditions. For example, an unplanned high dose of vitamin C to protect a person from seasonal diseases can negatively affect kidney function. Therefore, it is necessary to determine the medical requirements of the body before planning this supplement. Not every patient who applies for a vitamin supplement request is given a supplement immediately. With the plans made according to the diagnosis-treatment-follow-up principle called the 3T rule, the right decisions should be made that provide real benefits for the patient,”he said.

Stating that the current applications that support the body’s immune system have proven positive effects in the medical literature, the petitioner continued as follows: “Serum and vitamin supplements are being put into circulation on the market by vendor companies with unreal effects. People create demands for both themselves and their children based on this unreal information. For example, there are known positive effects of supporters such as glutathione therapy, ozone therapy, vitamin C supplementation applied in a clinical setting on the body. However, ignoring the possible underlying different causes, it would not be right to expect healing only from these deceptions. These practices should be considered as aids that will support the general state of well-being, feed the body’s power supply, and increase the function of defense mechanisms. While these applications, each of which provides support for different issues, are recommended to patients, their current health conditions should be evaluated as a whole. First, treatment plans should be created that will eliminate existing problems, and then contribute to sustainable health status.”
