12 BEST THINGS TO CONSIDER AFTER ANTALYA HAIR TRANSPLANTATION

Turkey Medicals member and hospital clinic Doctor explained after hair transplant application in Istanbul and Antalya the area can be camouflaged with a hat. Op. Dr. listed the issues that should be considered:

In this case, the head will sit on top but it will not touch the planting area, a hard cap / sports hat should be used on top and the hair transplanted area should remain in the space under the hat. The most appropriate one is a hat that will not collapse, the top part of which is hard, in the style that we see in African safari documentaries. If it can’t be found, there may also be golf hats with a hard top,” he said.
.

Turkey Medicals member and hospital transplant Operator Doctor said that there should be absolutely no contact with the transplant area within 48 hours of the hair transplant.

.
Dr. he listed the issues that should be considered after hair transplant as follows:

1- “Hair follicles transplant while sleeping at night should not touch the head of the bed, duvet or pillow and should not be damaged. For this it is recommended to use a hard and small pillow. You can lie on your back on the nape of the neck where the intake was made. Lying face down is not recommended for two weeks, as it increases the risk that the transplant area may come into contact with a pillow or mattress. In addition, it should be preferred to wear open-front clothing such as shirts, cardigans, zip-up sweaters for 2 weeks; tight-fitting clothing such as t-shirts, strait sweaters, and athletes should not be passed through the head area to avoid damaging the transplant area. In other words, there should be no contact with the transplant area for 2 weeks, every possible contact can damage the transplanted hair root and we may lose that hair root.

2- Sports activities, hammam, sauna, swimming, solarium and all kinds of hairdressing services are not allowed and prohibited for two weeks. It can damage the hair follicles, increase the risk of infection.

3- Hair can be cut with scissors provided that they are not scraped after 15 days. after 45 days, all kinds of hairdressing services can be obtained (such as shaving, dyeing, engraving, perming, similar procedures).

4- For two days, washing should not be done on the transplant where the hair was transplanted and water should not be touched. The first wash it should be done after 48 hours of the day, that is, the operation. Your transplant Antalya doctor or medical team will do this washing. The main thing is to act gently so as not to damage the hair follicles and not to injure the hair when washing.

5- After washing, you should definitely not use a towel in the hair transplant area and dry it with a hair dryer.

6- If you are doing sports that will cause a blow to the head area (football, basketball, taekwondo, kick box, boxing, wrestling, etc.) you should start these activities after 45 days.

7- If you are going to travel immediately after transplanting, traveling with a simple inflatable pillow that will fill your neck will prevent you from resting your head on the glass or other place and damaging your hair follicles.

8- You should not take aspirin in the first week after the operation. It is also not recommended to take blood-thinning medications and herbal supplement treatments such as ginseng, ginko biloba, vitamin E. It will take between 2.5 months and 4 months for your hair to start coming out after the hair transplant operation.

9- You should not drink alcohol for a month. It is also recommended to reduce smoking. But one day after the operation and on the day of the operation you are forbidden to smoke.

10- People who are engaged in any branch of sports should also not play sports for a month, do not overwork themselves.

11- They should be sensitive to daylight and cold and should not stand in too cold and hot.

12- Two weeks after the operation, they can return to their sexual life. But it is not recommended to have sexual intercourse for two weeks. Antibiotics, pain medications, and usage patterns that will be used after hair transplant surgery in Turkey should be given by the Turkish transplant doctor who performs the operation in Antalya and Istanbul personally,” he said.
