SOME OF THE COMMON CONDITIONS TREATED WITH ORTHODONTICS INCLUDE

Anteroposterior (both forward and backward oriented) deviations: a mismatch between a pair of closed Jaws is known as an anteroposterior discrepancy or deviation. An example of this type of mismatch would be an upper-burn (where the upper teeth are further forward than the lower teeth) or an upper-burn (where the lower teeth then move forward in the upper teeth).

AN OVERVIEW COST OF SOME OF MOST COMMON TREATMENTS

Initial treatment: treatment usually does not begin until the adult teeth are fully developed, that is; the child is about 12 or 13 years old. In some cases, if dental problems have not been noticed in advance, treatment can begin after several years.
Children with cleft lip and palate may require orthodontic treatment before adult teeth are fully developed.
