BOTOX FOR MEN

Botox injection is also widely preferred all over the world by men who want to maintain their youthful appearance.

Botox is a drug made from a toxin produced by the clostridium botulinum bacterium. By temporarily reducing the movement of the muscles in the area where it is injected, it prevents excessive mimic use, which causes wrinkling of the skin. It allows to smooth out the muscles where there are slight wrinkles by relaxing them.

In men, Botox is injected into the spots with a very small amount of wrinkles. The drug prevents the nerves that prevent the muscles from signaling from reaching these facial muscle movements are restricted for an average of 4 months. Injected botox prevents the contraction of muscle cells, preventing the release of acetylcholine.

The effect of the drug causes a decrease in abnormal muscle contraction, which does not allow the muscles to become stiffer. Simply put, botox helps to stop fine lines and wrinkles that started in the first place and “soothes” existing lines that sit on your face.

The reason why it is known as ‘aesthetics is that it can be applied within an average of 15 minutes and routine life can be continued without interruption immediately after the injection.

Botox should be performed by a plastic surgeon or dermatologist who is an expert in the field. Just knowing the injection technique is not enough for botox application. If you want to result in a natural appearance, you should definitely choose specialists who know which muscle and which amount and to which points it should be done.

Botox injection leaves no trace

Pain is not felt during Botox injection. No scarring occurs. Redness, bruising or edema usually does not occur if the person’s skin structure is not very sensitive.

Even if you continue your normal life without interruption, you can expect it to take a day to do cardio or lift weights at the gym. In addition, it is recommended to stay away from excessive heat or chlorine for 1-2 days, such as sauna, hammam, pool. It should be protected from the sun, the skin should be moisturized.

Wrinkle formation can be prevented with Botox, existing wrinkles can be treated and you can look 5 to 10 years younger. It is used for the treatment of horizontal lines on the forehead, vertical decals between the eyebrows, crow’s feet on the edges of the eyes, smile lines on the edges of the lips or vertical lines on the upper lip.

Depending on the type of botox material used and the frequency of application, it is enough to go twice or once a year. Since it varies from person to person, the patient can determine the timing himself. When the wrinkles return, the injection should be repeated.
