Saggy nipples

Sagging breasts are one of the body deformities that women are most unhappy with. For reasons such as pregnancy, birth weight gain and age, the tightness and fullness of the breasts may decrease over time, and the breasts may sag. In addition, asymmetry in the breasts are among the most common complaints, including breasts that look different from each other or one of which looks more droopy than the other. Decapitation is one of the most common complaints.

These complaints observed in the breasts can be successfully eliminated by combining breast lift with breast augmentation aesthetics according to the needs. Because breast lift surgery does not restore the lost volume to the breasts. Breast lift aesthetics restores the erect and firm form of the breasts. Sagging breasts, asymmetry, the shape of the nipple and its surroundings are among the defects that can be corrected with breast lift aesthetics (mastopexy).

How is the operation performed?

Breast lift is performed by applying general anesthesia. Incisions are made vertically and horizontally around the areola, which is dark around the nipple. After the incision procedure, the soft breast tissue is removed and reshaped to correct its firmness with the breast contour. The nipple and areola are brought to their natural, ideal position and shape. Excess breast skin is removed to give tension to the breasts. If it is desired to give volume to the breasts, breast implants are placed. After the operation is completed, the incisions are closed with aesthetic stitches.

Some of the incision marks are hidden in the areola area or in the natural lines of the breasts. However, although some of the stitches cannot be hidden, they are sewn with care in such a way that they become indistinct over time. The results of breast lift aesthetics become visible immediately.

How is the healing process?

After the breast lift surgery is completed, a wrap is made and a special surgical support bra is worn to minimize edema. It is recommended to wear the surgical bra continuously for 3-4 days, then a softer supportive bra should be worn for 3-4 weeks. Self-dissolving stitches are usually removed during surgeries. Edema goes down for two weeks, if the dissolving suture is not used, it is removed, the sutures mostly heal within a few weeks. The feeling of numbness in the breasts passes.

Breast lift aesthetics provides more permanent results for women who do not want to have children again. These are the operations where patient satisfaction is the highest.
