BASIC CONCEPTS THAT NEED TO BE KNOWN ABOUT DETOX

The first rule of detoxification is to consume as much liquid as the body needs.

In order to perform healthy detox practices, it is necessary to understand some concepts well. Today I want to explain a few concepts, and tomorrow I want to talk about how we can get rid of toxins, detox diets.

1- Free Radical

After harmful toxins enter the blood, they turn into substances that we call free radicals. Free radicals are substances that damage normal molecules by stealing electrons from solid molecules, disrupting their structure.

It is possible for the body to cope with free radicals only with adequate consumption of antioxidant vitamins and water.

2- Oxidation (oxidation) means to rust.

Isn’t rusty iron the result of combining iron with oxygen in the air in a humid environment? Just as a rusty iron loses its properties, when it is oxidized through harmful substances in the cells, it loses its properties just like rusty iron, it cannot sustain its life and cannot renew itself. Antioxidants are nature’s weapons against oxidation, that is, rust. The death of the fish after leaving the water is one of the other events that can be shown as an example of the harmful effects of oxygen.

3- Antioxidant

It is a group of chemical substances that are produced by the body’s cells, as well as ingested through food. The oxygen in the air we breathe causes the formation of some substances called free radicals in the body that have a toxic (toxic) effect. The antioxidants found in our body act against free radicals, preventing them from causing harm. In addition, the nutrients taken into the body undergo many reactions until they enter the blood, and oxidants called “free radicals” are released during digestion, which allow cells to be oxidized. The immune system activates certain mechanisms and enzyme activities against these harmful substances produced by the body or taken from the outside. Substances that increase the effectiveness of these enzymes and are involved in their proper operation are called “antioxidants”, and antioxidants are taken into the body by natural means, with nutrients.

Hope to see you.
