CESME WAS FILLED AT THE EID FEAST

On the 2nd day of Eid al-Adha in the Cesme District of Izmir, holidaymakers breathed on the Turkish riviera beaches. There was intensity at Ilica Beach.

One of the addresses of those who wanted to evaluate the long holiday holiday by entering the sea in hot weather was Cesme again. Especially in recent years, in Cesme, one of the most popular holiday centers of domestic and foreign tourists, there have been no empty places in hotels and accommodation facilities since the first days of Eid holiday in Turkey.

Ilica Beach, which is frequented by holidaymakers, was completely filled at noon. In the city, where the air temperature was 36 degrees, holidaymakers enjoyed the sea and sun.

PY (80), who says that he lives in Germany and spends 6 months of the year in Cesme, said: “I have a summer house here. I’ve been here for 6 months. It got too crowded at the feast. Even walking in Alaçatı became difficult. They don’t wear masks. We are saddened to hear that the number of cases has increased. And when I go out, I don’t go to crowded places. After the holiday, the cases will increase. The whole of Europe is like that, ” he said.

BA, who said that he came to the city from the Turgutlu District of Manisa, said: “we wanted to make a holiday. But we couldn’t find a place to sit on the beach. We’ve been here 2 days. We stay where we find it. Prices are too high. We are lying in our own vehicle,” he said.

Another holidaymaker MH, “in Çeşme Eid holiday is very beautiful. Ilica is very beautiful, but expensive. Water 2.5 TL. We came yesterday, we will go today,” he said.

Stating that they came from Samsun, UT said: “it is very crowded. People have been home for a while. We’re staying in Izmir. After the holiday, we’ll go home. We prefer a public beach. Because the prices are too high,” he said.

DS also said, “we come from Izmir. We went to Foca yesterday. We cut our victim. It’s too crowded, the prices are expensive, we gave 50 TL to the car park. But it’s normal, if you’re coming to Cesme, you’re going to lose it,” he said.

MB, “we hired a house. We’re not staying at a hotel. There’s a crowd for the feast. Then I hope they’re residents. We rented a house for 1 month. Prices are very expensive this year. I guess the pandemic was effective. We come from Istanbul,” he said.
