PREPARING FOR LIFE WITH CHILDREN…

Turkey Medicals Co-ordinator, “A modern-day mother has a lot of things to do for a planned baby. For one thing, you have to change your life from top to bottom and gradually get ready for life with children. Nothing will ever be the same again… But rest assured, it will be better…” was said.

I started from my job first to change. I decided to change my job, which is unbearable when long working hours are added to the busy and stressful working conditions that I reach every day in 2 hours by public transport. Because when I was pregnant, I couldn’t go that way, I couldn’t work under that stress, or I couldn’t stay up late enough to come home in the dead of the evening. Therefore, within 3 months I found a job 20 minutes from my house, in the greenery, relatively peaceful/stress-free (relatively, because there is no job that is completely: ) and not too tiring. It was a little bit of luck, actually… From this point of view, luck only caused me to change my career plan a little because I preferred to move to a smaller but more peaceful job for my baby while the other company was a more established, more corporate company and a company where I had a chance to progress. This was the first stage of preparation for life with a baby. I also gave myself 6-7 months to introduce myself in this company, after all, getting pregnant as soon as I changed jobs might not be welcome from the point of view of the employer…

The next change was my lifestyle. With the energy given by youth, sleeping late at night was replaced by a regular life, fast food eating habits were replaced by regular eating, sightseeing was replaced by spending more time at home and saving money. As a matter of fact, our married life became a healthy married life after the baby decision, before we were like a college couple living together.

Finally, I started working on becoming a healthier individual by changing my eating style. We have replaced the snack and beer pleasure we make in front of the TV every evening with foods such as fruits, herbal teas, sweets. I tried to quit my alcohol and smoking habits and started playing sports. This was one of the biggest change steps for me.

After that, both my wife and I had a check-up. We needed to know how healthy we were before we brought a healthy individual into the world. Fortunately, neither of us had serious health problems. Our necessary minor treatments (colds, dental treatment, etc.) after I did, there were no obstacles to having a baby in sight. By the way, keep in mind that if you have decided to have a baby, make sure to have a dental checkup. You can’t have dental treatment for the first 6 months of pregnancy, and your teeth are really damaged during pregnancy. In other words, the word that our ancestors said ‘every child takes a tooth’ does not have a share of justice, it is for me to say…

Finally, care, of course… As you know, hair is not dyed for the first 6 months of pregnancy, and then you can dye it with organic products. Again, during this period, applications that require hygiene, such as manicure-pedicure, are not looked at warmly at the hairdresser. Therefore, I think you should have your final care before starting baby studies. I turned to my own hair color because I didn’t think about dyeing my hair during pregnancy, then when I saw the pregnancy periods of my dyed / dyed friends, I realized that I had made the right decision. In addition, you can solve this need hygienically at home by purchasing a small manicure set.

As a result, a tiny soul begins to change your life even before it comes into the world, even while you are still in the state of ideas…
