A TOPIC THAT AROUSES CURIOSITY IN SOCIETY; HYPNOSIS

Since the moment human beings came into the world, they have aimed to learn the hidden secrets that will make them superior to other people and to obtain superior powers. Hypnosis is known among the public as one of such powers. Hypnosis practices are described as if they were a mysterious, ‘magical’ event. It is believed that God gives such power to people.
.

However, hypnosis is not a concept related to the Divine spirit and Divine events that we call ‘spiro’, which every person looks at with trepidation. The so-called ‘psycho’ is a concept related to the five senses of man and based on a purely scientific basis. Hypnosis is not a state of sleep. It is the event of overcoming the conscious mind of a person, descending into the subconscious, where memory records are kept, such as ‘hard disk’ of a computer, and giving permanent suggestions.

.
Subconscious;

It is generally accepted that the human mind consists of two parts. ‘Conscious’ and ‘Unconscious’, but it is useful to specify it immediately. These centers and their activities are in a very tight and intertwined order with each other. In this distinction, some researchers also make different classifications.

Conscious;

In psychology, it is defined as ‘the mental process in which the brain keeps the facts ahead in processing information and is dominated by logical thinking’. This system is the system that ensures human survival. He does not welcome suggestion very much, he is more prone to thinking, reasoning and putting into action what he has already learned. Consciousness includes all activities that are done intentionally and willingly. If you are asked for a pen, you give it to the person who asks for it with a conscious movement.

Unconscious;

It is the section where emotional and psychological stimuli from the limbic system, which is the center of instincts, as well as emotional stimuli from the cortex, are evaluated. Like the work of the heart and intestines, it consists of two parts, which we call the ‘Center where automatic activities are managed’ and the ‘Subconscious’ where memory records are kept. The subconscious mind, like the ‘hard disk’ of a computer, is a real knowledge bank in which all the records of the organism are kept from the moment it falls into the womb. The subconscious is the main source of impulses from within and the behavioral and emotional reactions that occur in response to this. Erroneous records kept subconsciously are the cause of many diseases and psychological problems. Hypnosis can play an important role in treatment by revealing these false recordings in the subconscious and the factors that cause erroneous behavior. For example, a person who jumps on a dog in infancy may be afraid of a dog at a later age, although he does not know why. The cause of these fears, which are described as ’phobia’, can be easily treated by psychiatrists by being revealed under hypnosis.

Application areas of hypnosis;

During hypnosis, physiological changes in the body can occur immediately depending on the suggestions given, as well as they can be seen days later. The main areas that benefit from hypnosis are; in Dentistry; in preventing bad habits such as finger sucking, teeth grinding, eliminating feelings such as fear, nausea, increasing endurance in long treatments, performing all dentistry applications with hypnosis-provided anesthesia in cases where anesthesia cannot be performed, Psychiatry, Obstetrics and Gynecology, medical branches such as Surgical Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Dermatology, weight control, eliminating children’s exam excitement and increasing their performance, education, sports, military and political fields etc…

With health.
