- Aşıklı Höyük, which is the first village of Central Anatolia and Cappadocia. With its 11-thousand-year history, it retains its place in history as the site of the first brain surgery. In this sense, it also has an important feature from the point of view of the history of Medicine.

- The first brain surgery in the world applied to a young woman was performed in Aşıklı Höyük. The skull, where surgical scars were found, was removed from Aşıklı Höyük and is currently on display in Aksaray Museum along with other finds.
