HAIR LOSS IN WOMEN

Many plastic surgeons believe that 1 out of every 5 women may have hair loss to varying degrees after menopause due to aging, illness, or hormonal changes. Unlike hair loss, which is usually seen in men in the form of opening a certain area, there is usually a slight tendency to thinning of all hair in women in general. In order to eliminate this problem, some women consider it appropriate to use wigs or hairpieces. Some women prefer some solutions applied to the scalp. Such solutions can prevent further hair loss in some people without causing new hair to grow. Hair Transplant operation can be the answer to the problem of people who are not attracted by these methods.

Since it is the most commonly used mini-graft technique for surgical filling of thinned areas, people who will be candidates for this operation should have hair on the back of the head often enough. A more frequent appearance is achieved by filling in thin areas with hair follicles carried in mini-grafts taken from this frequent hair area. If it is considered more suitable for the patient, flap or tissue expansion operations can be used.

Turkey Medicals Co-ordinator, “If you are considering female hair transplant surgery, you should know that you definitely cannot have a hair cover at the density before your hair falls out, but you can have more frequent and cambered hair with surgical operation.”
