HOW IS WOMEN’S SKIN OVER THE YEARS?

Have you ever thought about how the skin and bodies of women who were 43 or 50 years old in the 1990s were compared to today’s women?

Turkey Medicals, “The most important difference between the skin of the two periods can be understood by looking at the decadal change in the texture of the skin.”

Turkey Medicals member and hospital Dermatologist Specialist Associate Doctor, “for the dermatological point of view, the most important factor determining the age of the skin is the structure of the epidermis and dermis of the skin. At first sight that caught our eye is the top layer of the epidermis, this layer stained or blemished skin, open pores or our matte or glossy, clear or black dotted or fat, such as the properties of the shows. If it is the dermis layer, it is under the epidermis layer, the skin that we squeeze between two fingers can give information about the decision. Tight and decadent skin does not come easily between the fingers, many of us know that it is difficult to get scissors from a child’s skin. The dermis is rich in collagen and extremely tight.”

As a dermatologist in Antalya, when I evaluate the epidermis as moisture-free, pores enlarged and stained, I first think about sun damage. in the 1990s, women who were 30-40 years old, perhaps, began to apply a little sunscreen to their children. But their youth and even my very short period were the years when we either put cola, carrot oil on our bodies or we didn’t put any preservatives on our bodies. Here’s the biggest problem, besides their goodness, is that the sun’s rays, which also do DNA damage and are radiation, are on the skin; – it leads to accumulative and clustering damage to both the epidermis and the dermis. Moreover, subcutaneous vitamin injections, hyaluronic acid and moisture vaccines were not known in our country at that time, perhaps they were administered very rarely.

The 2000s were the years when botox injections began to become widespread, followed immediately by hyaluronic acid fillers. These inventions have offered a very, very great youth advantage to those who are now 40 years of age or older. Botox is a Nobel Prize-winning drug for me. Because the full face lift, including the forehead lift, has become a history. In addition, it has created advantages for those who have had botox at an early age, such as preventing eyelid sagging or significantly reducing the number of blepharoplasty operations performed at an early age. Confidence has increased in practices that are performed in the right hands without a scalpel. Of course, as with every innovation, the doses and treatment areas used in botox and filler applications were limited in the early years. As experience has been gained and shared, applications called advanced botox have become among the routine applications of today.

Turkey Medicals member and hospital Dermatologist Specialist Associate Doctor,  “Before applying botox, filler, or any anti-aging application in Turkey, the most important issue that my readers should pay attention to is that you should consult with a Turkish doctor who has expert knowledge of anatomy. It is extremely important for your doctor to determine the procedure you need, plan in what order and how often it can be performed.”

SHOULD I DRINK COLLAGEN PILLS?

Collagen and hyaluronic acid are the main components of the dermis. The dermis layer of people whose skin we like is healthy, which means that it produces these two components. But the need, which can vary depending on the lifestyle and whether they are losing weight or giving birth, requires the support of these two structures with injections. A very common question is should I drink collagen Turkish pills? Or when should I start taking hyaluronic acid injections? Let me detail this in our next article.
