1. FOR A CUP OF COCOA

2. EAT SIX SERVINGS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES A DAY

3. TRY THE LION BREATH TECHNIQUE

Mental stress can affect breathing. Richard Evans, an education consultant who runs courses for students on how to alleviate mental stress while studying, points out the importance of controlling breath.

He recommends that the practice, called Lion breath, be repeated daily to reduce stress.

For the lion’s breath, it is first necessary to take a comfortable sitting position. Palms pressed against knees, fingers wide open. As you breathe deeply through the nose, the eyes open wide. In doing so, the mouth opens wide and the tip of the tongue is brought to the chin. It exhales by making a long “ha” sound. Evans recommends repeating this practice 2-3 times.

Evans also recommends breathing in the form of short but concise breaths to get rid of stress instantly. Sitting upright in a comfortable position, breathing for four seconds, breathing for four seconds, and breathing for four seconds. Evans notes that repeating this for four minutes or until it calms down will provide comfort in a highly effective and rapid manner.
