ONLINE MACHINE THAT CALCULATES WHEN YOU WILL DIE

Scientists “when Will I die?” the online calculator attack came in response to the question. Scientist have developed an online calculator that predicts how long people aged 50 and over can live their lives.

Continuing their work at University of Ottawa in Canada, the team claimed that the calculator they prepared could accurately predict deaths within 6 months. The research team took advantage of data from more than 491 thousand elderly people who received home care decency between 2007 and 2013. The calculator was tested on a group of elderly people in Ontario, quoted.

Experts said the calculator, called Risk Assessment for Support: Predictions for Elder-Life in the Community Tool (RESPECT), focuses on people who are expected to lose their lives in the next 5 years.

People who want to use Respect need to answer questions about diseases and the ability to perform daily activities such as eating. After that, the website reports the estimated life expectancy and risk of death within 5 years.

The lead author of the paper on the calculator, said Respect allows families to plan with loved ones: ‘it can, for example, make an adult child plan when he or she will take time off from work to be with his or her parent.’’

Doctor from the research team also said that thanks to RESPECT, the quality of life of someone who is learned to approach the last moments of their life can be improved.
