IS IT POSSIBLE TO HAVE IMPLANTS PAINLESSLY?

If you have more than one missing tooth in your mouth, implant treatment is the best alternative in case of complete toothlessness or in cases where the jawbone is insufficient. But it is very important that this type of treatment is carried out at medical accedited Turkey JCI hospital dentristy clinics, in specialized hands.

Turkey Medicals, “Dental implants are artificial tooth roots that are placed in the jawbone to replace missing teeth or teeth in order to obtain the function of a natural tooth. These systems, which have been used routinely for many years, are non-troublesome treatment methods that offer comfort close to the natural tooth without damaging your remaining teeth.
.

So what are the best tricks of this treatment? What can we pay attention to and open the doors to a successful treatment in Turkey? Here are a few important tips on this topic for you…

.
A successful implant treatment in Antalya and Istanbul requires a specialist dentist and team:

Implant treatment is a special specialty in dentistry. For this reason, the doctor in Turkey who will perform this treatment must have an education in this field and be specialized in this field. In order to perform the surgical procedure, a team of an oral surgeon, an implatologist, or a periodontologist and a prosthetist is required.

The best alternative for bridge construction is an implant in the absence of more than one tooth:

Classical bridge treatment is impossible because there are no teeth necessary for bridge construction in the jaws that end without teeth on the back. In classical methods, a movable prosthesis is applied on the jaws that end without teeth. Thanks to the implants placed in the toothless area at the back, a fixed prosthesis can be made instead of a movable prosthesis. If there is a lack of more than one tooth located side by side, even if there are natural teeth at the beginning and end of the toothless area, there is a possibility of breaking and stretching, as the bridge will be too long to be made. In addition, the teeth that will be used as bridge legs will also be subjected to too much force, so the bridge will not last long. Implant treatment allows you to make a more functional and long-lasting prosthesis in long-toothless areas.

In case of total (complete) toothlessness, the implant:

If there is a complete toothlessness problem in the lower and upper jaw or both, a movable or fixed prosthesis supported by an implant can be applied. Full prostheses used in the lower jaw by classical methods are poor in retention due to the fact that the bone melts over time. Food debris may escape under the prosthesis, a stroke may occur. Prostheses used on the upper jaw, on the other hand, lead to problems such as inability to taste, nausea due to the fact that they completely cover the palate. Because the prosthesis is fixed to the jaw with an implant, there are no problems such as playing, food escaping under the prosthesis, and hitting.

If the jawbone is insufficient, the implant:

If the bone size is not enough for implant treatment, new bone formation can be started with some surgical procedures. If the width of the bone is insufficient, the amount of bone can be increased using artificial bone powder by bone grafting. In cases where the bone is too thin, this procedure will not be enough. In these cases, a piece of bone is removed from the mouth and placed in the area where the implant will be applied, and in this way, an increase in the amount of bone can be achieved. In cases where the bone height is insufficient, the bone is lengthened by the distraction method to obtain new bone.

Sinus fting (Sinus upgrade)

There are cavities called sinuses in the right and left parts of the upper jaw bone. These cavities can expand and sag downwards under the influence of air pressure due to prolonged toothlessness. This condition can prevent implants from being made in the toothless areas below the sinus region. In this case, a special surgical intervention called sinus lifting can be performed, which allows to reduce the volume of the sinuses and increase the volume of bones.

.
IN NAVIGATIONAL THERAPY, PAIN AND EDEMA BECOME MUCH LESS

The surgical guidance system, called the navigation system in the medical field; informs the doctor about all the dental, oral and maxillofacial information in dental treatment, guides the doctor by determining the most suitable place where the implant will be made.

The system warns the Turkish doctor if there is a shift from the place it detects during treatment, reducing the margin of error to zero.

The general functioning of the system is based on surgical planning with very detailed digital tomography information received from the patient and implementation of this plan to the patient during the intervention.

Three-dimensional planning and digital tomography provide a great advantage over panoramic X-ray.

.
IT IS RELIABLE

Thanks to the system, the doctor does not need to cut the gum and see the bone. In implant treatments, the doctor reaches the bone by cutting the gum and follows a treatment path by looking at the bone. With this technology, all detailed information from the location of the nerves to the bone thickness can be obtained instantly and appropriate treatment can be achieved reliably.

The system, which offers the possibility of implant treatment safely and quickly, prevents bleeding and discomfort caused by incorrect implant application, as well as doctor errors.

.
THREE STAGE TREATMENT IN TURKEY

– The surgical guidance system consists of three stages: at initial stage, a three-dimensional tomography of the jaw is taken. Detailed jaw-bone information obtained thanks to the tomography taken is displayed in three dimensions.

– This information is transferred to the surgical guidance system. Then sensors with eyes inside are placed in the patient’s mouth. Thanks to these verbal receivers, all the millimeter movements made by the doctor are reflected on the monitor.

– The doctor can easily see the jaw information, the depth of the nerves and the bone quality in this area by seeing the area he will treat on the monitor. The sensors alert the doctor in seconds to ensure that the implant slot is opened in the right place.

– Proper preparation of the implant socket and reduction of surgery complications accelerate the boiling of the implant to the bone.

– Since the gum does not need to be opened to see the bone tissue, less pain and edema occur, tissue healing is faster. The risk of infection decreases to a minimum with this method of treatment.

.
ADVANTAGES OF NAVIGATION IMPLANT TECHNOLOGY

Thanks to this technology, problems that may be encountered during implant applications are determined in advance, analyzed and no surprises are experienced during surgery.

It allows the implant to be placed at the correct angle and position. Modern technology support is limited for implant application, despite the three-dimensional imaging technology in the lower jaw area. This causes drilling without details that are not precise and not in the appropriate place, and this leads to slow and inadequate healing.

After operation, because there are no surgical cuts, bleeding and stitches, very fast recovery is achieved.

Surgical planning with very detailed digital tomography information taken from the patient provides a great advantage over panoramic X-ray.
