WHY TO PREFER TURKISH ORGANIC FOODS?

Organic foods are the insurance of our body health, said Prof. Dr. “Many diseases, especially cancer, are triggered by toxins taken from food,” was said.

The role of environmental toxins in many diseases, from cancer to hyperactivity and even autism, which are common today, is great. For a healthy life, it is necessary to reduce exposure to environmental toxins such as pesticide residues, air and water pollution that we take from Turkish fruits and vegetables.

At this point, an internal medicine specialist professor who drew attention to the importance of organic foods, Dr. made the following statements;

.
THESE FOODS ARE THE ENEMY OF CANCER

Organic foods have preventive properties against cancer. The molecules they contain, called salvestrol, activate the cyp1b1 enzyme, which is found only in cancerous cells, not in normal cells. As a result of this reaction, anti-cancer compounds called piceatannol appear in the cancer cell and attack the cancer cell, causing the cell’s death. Salvestrollers are phytobesins that protect plants against fungi, mold and other harmful elements and are only found in organic foods. Especially Turkish Aegean green and black olives, artichokes, cabbage, broccoli, apples, pears, strawberries, blueberries, basil, sage, thyme, and others are rich in this compound. When pesticides are used, plants cannot produce these compounds.

.
PESTICIDES EVERYWHERE

A large part of the pesticides (pesticides) applied to plants reach the air, rivers and other living things. These drugs are among the most likely causes of problems that occur in the hormonal and immune systems. Babies and children are much more susceptible to pesticides. In the United States, every child aged 5 and under consumes an average of 8 plant nutrients containing pesticides per day. Avocados, pineapples, onions, asparagus, eggplant, cauliflower, papaya, melon and broccoli carry fewer pesticides than others, according to the Environmental Working Group. Strawberries, spinach, nectarines, peaches, apples, pears, grapes, tomatoes, potatoes, celery and peppers are loaded with more pesticides.

.
CLOSE TO 120 DISEASES ARE REDUCED

The most appropriate answer to those who claim that there will be a problem of hunger in the world when there is no industrial agriculture came from the University of Ankara. The team from this University calculated that 4,260 calories per person will fall when switching to organic agriculture all over the world. So that’s almost twice the calories you need per person. Organic nutrition will undoubtedly save the world. If it can be switched to a fully organic diet, it is assumed that up to 120 diseases that lead to the most deaths will also decrease or disappear.
