FREQUENT NUTRITIONAL ERRORS

Currently, many of the chronic diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, cancer, neurological diseases and lung diseases occur due to nutritional errors. For this reason, an error-free diet is an indispensable prerequisite for a healthy life. It is extremely important not only what we eat and drink, but also when and how we eat. Therefore, it is vital to review what we eat and drink and make the right choices. Here are 7 nutritional mistakes to watch out for:

.
CONSUMING REFINED FLOURY FOOD

Today, natural foods have been replaced by processed, ready-made, calorie-dense, easily consumed foods. Such foods are foods that have changed their taste, color, texture, been exposed to radiation, genetically modified by chemical treatment, and most of the elements harmful to health in them are also lost. Because processed canned foods are harmful to health, it is necessary to take care of consuming organic foods. Fresh, clean, seasonal, locally produced, if possible organic, colored plant foods are the guarantee of health.

.
CONSUMING INDUSTRIAL ANIMAL PRODUCTS

Considering the quantity, variety and quality to live healthy and long, plant foods are sufficient for health without the need for animal foods. Very little processing, cooking, salting and consuming various plant foods makes an important contribution to health. In this process, raw or steamed undercooked foods should be preferred the most. A maximum of 10% of daily calories should come from animal foods that travel freely, breathe fresh air, drink water, eat what they want, don’t eat what they want, don’t consume artificial feed, industrial animal products should not be consumed.

.
OVEREAT AT NIGHT AND EAT STIRRING

Eating three meals a day, constantly snacking is harmful to health and leads to obesity. It is very healthy to have two quality meals, not to eat after 20:00, and to reduce the amount of calories two days a week. It is important to reconcile nutrients with each other. The first rule of this is not to consume concentrated animal proteins and starchy carbohydrates together. Nowadays, this rule is completely neglected. Hamburgers and fried potatoes, in which meat and potatoes are consumed are the most typical example of this. The second basic rule about animal protein consumption is not to consume two different animal proteins such as meat, milk, dairy products and eggs at the same time. Fruits should be consumed before breakfast and between meals.

.
TAKE A LOT OF LIQUID CALORIES

Cola drinks and juices contain a lot of calories and fructose, they have a high glycemic index, do not create a feeling of satiety and cause obesity. For all these reasons, cola drinks should be avoided and fruit should be eaten instead of drinking fruit juice. Starchy drinks, juices, alcoholic beverages, energy drinks are absolutely not recommended for health.

.
OVERESTIMATE THE AMOUNT OF FAT

The most important feature of Turkish cuisine is the preparation of dishes very fatty, a lot of oil is poured into salads. Although the body definitely needs quality fats, processed supermarket fats, animal fats, and trans fats found in prepared foods are definitely harmful to health. Although fat is a flavor element, it is one of the important causes of obesity. Fried, roasted, exposed to high heat foods should be avoided. Preference should be given to the method of cooking raw or steamed.
Gobble

Turkish meals should be consumed slowly and with prolonged chewing. Eating fast and not chewing causes digestive problems and weight gain.
