NEW REGULATION ON SMOKING! MINISTRY GAVE 6 MONTHS

Another new regulation has come to smoking in Turkey. Under a new regulation prepared by the Ministry of Agriculture and forestry, the combined health warning area on the back surfaces of Turkish cigarette packets has been increased from 85 percent to 100 percent. For the transition to regulation, the sector was given a period of 6 months.

‘Regulation on amendments to the regulation on procedures and principles related to the Turkish production method, labeling and inspection of tobacco products’, prepared by the ministry in Turkey, was published in the Turkish Official Gazette and entered into force.
