15 IMPORTANT CAUSES OF NAUSEA

Nausea, one of the most common complaints that everyone can experience in society, can be caused by more innocent reasons, such as missing too much food, holding vehicles, reacting to unpleasant odors and images, or getting cold, and can also be a harbinger of serious diseases. Nausea, ulcers, gastrointestinal infections, sudden gastritis, intestinal obstruction, appendicitis, such as disorders of the digestive system, including stress, pregnancy, vertigo, migraine, blood pressure problems, such as a brain tumor.

Nausea is not a disease, but a reaction that occurs as a result of triggering mechanisms in the body caused by different causes, or a symptom of different diseases. Various diseases that can lead to nausea and require attention are listed as follows:

1- Food poisoning. One of first symptoms that occurs with food poisoning is nausea. In food poisoning, complaints such as vomiting, diarrhea, fever, abdominal pain, and cramps can also be added to the complaint of nausea.

2- Gastritis, which can be defined as inflammation of the stomach lining, is usually caused by the helicobacter pylori microbe. Gastritis can occur suddenly (acute gastritis), or it can also be seen by showing symptoms gradually over time (chronic gastritis). 7- Intestinal obstruction Intestinal obstruction is one of disorders that can lead to life-threatening if not intervened. In addition to symptoms such as sudden and severe abdominal pain, abdominal swelling, inability to remove gas and stool, complaints such as nausea and vomiting may occur.

8- Cancer and cancer treatment Nausea can be a sign of cancer. Especially in digestive system cancers, along with symptoms such as indigestion, bloating, complaints such as nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, weight loss can be experienced. After cancer treatment or cancer treatment, nausea complaints can also be experienced. During chemotherapy treatment, complaints of sudden nausea and vomiting may occur. Complaints of nausea and vomiting can occur during chemotherapy, as well as after it.

9- Vertigo (Dizziness) Patients may experience vertigo, that is, dizziness, depending on different causes. In case of severe vertigo, the person is usually unable to move and the first complaints seen are nausea and vomiting.

10- Ear infections Ear infections are usually manifested by severe ear pain. But in inner ear infections, complaints such as nausea, dizziness can be added to ear pain.

11- Brain trauma and brain tumor. Disorders such as head injuries or brain tumors can show different symptoms depending on the form of the disease. Complaints such as severe headache, nausea, vomiting, speech impairment, weakness in the arms or legs, visual disturbances can be experienced in brain trauma or brain tumors.

12- Appendicitis. The most typical symptom of inflammation of the appendix, which is supposed to be the defense mechanism of the intestine and help regulate immunity, is pain in the right groin. However, along with pain, complaints such as nausea, vomiting, and digestive difficulties are also experienced.

13- Migraine. The most obvious feature of migraine attacks is a throbbing headache. However, complaints such as nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light and sound are also added to this headache.

14- Heart attack. Nausea and vomiting can be experienced with dizziness because not enough oxygen can be taken during a heart attack.

15- Kidney and urinary tract diseases. Kidney stones or urinary tract infections severe pain.
