RESEARCHERS UNVEIL ‘BEST DIET’ TO LIVE LONGER AND HEALTHIER

A new study conducted in the US has revealed a healthy and life extending way of eating. US experts have drawn attention to the fact that in the diet, even dark chocolate is allowed, while it should be taken into account.

Recently, many things have been written and drawn about the long and healthy life. Experts promise to live to the age of 100, but no matter how tempting the new methods and different applications may seem, exercise and nutrition are the basis of a long and healthy life for experts.

Most recently, experts from the University of California in the US have moved to find the best diet to live longer and healthier. Reviewing hundreds of studies conducted on nutrition over the past decade, the team described the most healthy and life-extending diet.
.

Accordingly, it was determined that legumes, whole grains and vegetables, an abundance of nuts and olive oil make up the basis of the diet. According to the diet, some fish is allowed, while consumption of chicken in particular is allowed at the lowest level.

.
NO RED MEAT AND NO PROCESSED MEAT

According to the diet established by experts, red meat and processed meat are not allowed. While such products are not included in the diet, the emphasis is also on reducing sugar and refined grains such as white bread, pasta and cereals.

The researchers stressed that following this diet can ‘delay aging’ and reduce the risk of developing age related diseases, including diabetes and cancer.

An expert in Aging and Biological Science and a member of the research team, stressed that “this is not just a diet for weight loss.” Instead, they aim to slow down aging and ‘prevent diseases and be healthier in old age,’ was explained.

.
HERE ARE THE ONES THAT ARE INCLUDED IN THE LONG-LIFE DIET

Your diet consists of 55 percent of non-refined carbohydrates, that is, more than half of the nutrients you need to eat in a day:

– Bran Bread
– Brown Rice
– Pasta
– Green Lentils
– Black Beans
– Mullet
– Barley
– Quinoa
– Oatmeal
– Sweet Potato
– Vegetables

Vegetable-based oils make up 30 percent of the diet. These:

– Olive
– Nut
– Avocado
– Chia Seeds
– Dark Chocolate
– Coconut

The part of the diet that occupies the lowest proportion is proteins. Its rate is only 15 percent. Here are the recommended proteins:

– Green Lentils
– Chickpea
– Black Beans
– Mullet
– Fish
– White Meat

.
INTERMITTENT FASTING IS IMPORTANT

Experts also say that intermittent fasting should be observed every day. Accordingly, all meals should be consumed within a 12-hour time frame. Fasting periods increase autophagy (the body’s way of clearing damaged cells) and cell regeneration in body tissues, the researchers said. It was emphasized that this condition also increases the body’s calorie burning rate.

The research also determined that this eating pattern will improve the healthy cell function and may help prevent diseases such as obesity, diabetes and cancer.
.

It was emphasized that the research also covers popular diets such as calorie restriction and the high-fat and low-carbohydrate keto diet. Accordingly, it was stated that a third of all calories in an ideal diet should come from plant-based fats.
