IT IS POSSIBLE TO INSTALL BOTH IMPLANTS AND PROSTHESES IN A DAY

With the Four Implant Technique, four dental implants can be placed in patients who do not have any teeth and a temporary dental prosthesis can be fixed on them on the same day. With this technique, which gives fast and successful results, permanent prostheses are switched to in three months.

Turkey Medicals – Turkey dental implants are the most effective solution for patients who have difficulties due to lost teeth. Dental implants give an image like your own natural teeth and perform their functions in this way.

All On Four, which we can call the Four Implant Technique, is a technique that allows you to fix a dental prosthesis on four dental implants placed at certain angles in completely toothless patients on the same day.

Dental patients who are scheduled for All On Four treatment should first undergo a clinical and radiological examination. Measurements are made on computed tomography (CT) and an appropriate planning is made for the patient. This treatment consists of two stages as surgery and dental prosthesis procedures. On the day of treatment, four dental implants are placed in the patient as planned, and on the same day, a temporary dental prosthesis is fixed on the dental implants.

After three months, the patient is given permanent dental prostheses.

.
TO WHOM DOES ALL ON FOUR APPLY?

This treatment can be applied to all patients who do not have any systemic diseases that will be an obstacle to dental implant surgery and who have sufficient bone volume and have no teeth at all. After the procedure, the temporary dental prosthesis fixed on the dental implants can be used immediately. But during the three-month period, which is the process of fusion of bone with dental implants, patients should be fed a recommended diet. After this process is completed, the normal diet can be returned with a permanent prosthesis to be made.

All On Four is a technique that has been successfully applied in dentistry for more than 10 years. This technique provides patients with a reliable, fast and low-cost treatment option in dentistry. Although it requires extra cost, technology and skills, it is often used by physicians working in this field and it seems that it provides a very high success rate. Oral implantology means that tissue-friendly materials, i.e. implants, are placed in the jawbone instead of teeth that have been lost for various reasons.

The days of scientific studies in recent years, with the development of technologically superior implants and supporting biomaterials, has increased the success rates from 85 percent to 98 percent between 1900 and 1985.

Now, when there is a lack of teeth today, an implant treatment plan is prepared without any damage to the natural teeth and dental implants are made to replace the lost teeth. Thanks to this, the lost function, aesthetics and phonation are restored.

Dental implants in Antalya are usually used for single tooth deficiencies, single or double-sided multiple tooth deficiencies, complete toothlessness and orthodontic anchoring purposes.

It remains in the mouth for more than 10 years.

What is the success rate of implant treatments?

Just as natural teeth are lost, implants can also be lost. No technique in terms of health is 100 percent successful. In the world, the total survival rate, that is, the survival rate of the implant in the mouth, is between 95-98 percent. It is seen as a success that implants stay in the mouth for an average of 10 years with good treatment planning and appropriate bone volume. These periods are exceeded in many well-planned implants.

What are the causes of implant treatment loss?

Insufficient bone volume, insufficient bone quality, smoking, some systematic diseases, insufficient oral care, the teeth tightening and parafunctional movements, periodontal, that is, gum diseases; cause failures in implants.

Can an implant be made for every patient?

If the general health conditions are appropriate, the first condition for an implant to be made to a patient is that there is sufficient bone presence. If this is not enough, an implant can be applied using bone augmentation techniques. Implant treatment is a multidisciplinary field and takes a certain period of time. Patient selection and compliance with the patient seriously affect the level of success.

Can failed implants be re-made?

Yes As a rule, as a result of implant failure, if the bone is sufficient, at the end of a certain healing process, or by applying different methods of bone augmentation, it is possible to re-implant in the same area. Therefore, the possible failure when planning implant treatments and what can be done in this case should be shared with the patients.

What is peri implantitis, how to prevent it?

Periantitis is called bone loss and inflammation that occurs around the implants in the short term or in the medium term after implants have been made. Poor oral care, improper implant prostheses and tooth tightening are the main reasons. Periodontitis can be treated with various treatment protocols, such as with natural teeth.

Do new technological developments increase implant success?

With the development of technology and scientific research, implant surgery and developments in implant prostheses help to increase success rates and provide safer implant treatments. With the support of new technologies and three-dimensional radiographic techniques, guidelines are produced that provide the most convenient and reliable implant surgery. In cases where anatomical formations are close and bone volume is small, bone volume can be evaluated three-dimensionally and reliably with dental tomographic techniques. Safer and more successful implants are made in these systems.

It has numerous advantages:

It offers full toothless patients the opportunity to have a fixed dental prosthesis with a single surgical procedure on the same day.

The operation is easier because there is no advanced surgical procedure such as sinus lifting (sinus lift surgery), bone addition.

The duration of dental implant surgery is quite short.

Its cost is even lower due to the fact that the number of dental implants used is reduced and does not require additional surgical procedures.

Personalized planning, aesthetic appearance and smile aesthetics are provided.

Easy to clean and maintain.

It is suitable for patients who cannot use movable dental prostheses.

The design is different compared to the palate tooth prosthesis (full tooth prosthesis). It is easier to use because it does not cover the palate of the patient.

Since the number of treatment sessions is small, it is suitable for patients residing outside the city or country.

Success in implant treatments depends on three factors:

Factors related to the doctor:

The best practice of the surgical rules of the doctor who will apply the implant is to choose the most appropriate treatment model for the patient. In addition, it is the determination of what should be done and what should not be done by sharing the treatment plan with the patient.

Patient-related factors:

It will increase success if the patient is in good harmony with his physician throughout the treatment process and helps him to determine the desired treatment plan in detail with his physician.

Factors related to the manufacturer:

The materials used and manufactured in implantology are tissue-friendly, made of high-quality material that has been functioning for many years.
