LASER TREATMENT OF INFLAMMATION OF THE TISSUE AROUND THE IMPLANT

Turkey Medicals – lasers used to treat infections that, if left untreated, can lead to the melting of the bone surrounding the implant and even the loss of the implant, and successful results are obtained in Istanbul and Antalya. This procedure is completed in a very short time under local anesthesia.

If the inflammation of the tissue around the implant concerns only soft tissue, laser treatment of this area gives quite successful results. Pockets located in the area are eliminated with a laser and the existing infection is eliminated by bacterial sterilization. This procedure is performed under local anesthesia in a very short time and the treatment is quite effective as long as the patient does not neglect his controls, which should be every 6 months, paying attention to oral hygiene. In cases where inflammation surrounds the bone, it is possible to open and clean the area and reconstruct the bone by applying a bone graft if necessary.
.

Nd-YAG, Diode, CO2, Erbium lasers are used individually or in combination to treat such conditions and successful results are obtained.

.
ORAL HYGIENE IS IMPORTANT

Infections that begin in the soft tissue around the implants that are integrated into the bone tissue, which can lead to the melting of the bone surrounding the implant and even the loss of the implant if left untreated. These problems may occur due to reasons such as not paying attention to sterilization during implant placement, not adjusting the force distribution well, not having resistance to initial placement, or hygiene deficiencies some time after implants are placed. After an accurate diagnosis and an appropriate treatment plan, such problems usually do not occur around implants that are made according to the rules. The area around the implants should also be cleaned regularly.

What is an immediate installation and is it valid for everyone? The normal plan for implant-supported teeth is to wait for a healing process after the implants are placed without loading them. Normally, in this process, the toothless cavity is temporarily closed with a calcified prosthesis attached to neighboring teeth. In the immediate installation, new implant systems and methods are used that allow the classical and temporary prosthesis to be fixed to the implants in the same session under special conditions. Whether this installation is suitable for the person depends on the condition of the jawbone and the location of the implants.

.
IT CAN CAUSE BLEEDING

Is there an interaction with drugs? It is possible with certain medications. For example, cortisone can change the body’s metabolism and immune system, causing problems with well-being. Anticoagulant drugs can cause severe bleeding during the placement of implants. If regular use of medication is mandatory, this should be discussed with the dentist.

Can sports and other physical activities be resumed after the implant is inserted? In order to avoid affecting the healing process, rest is recommended for several days. The dentist should be consulted for activities that involve dynamic movements.

.
HOW LONG IS THE LIFE OF AN IMPLANT?

A quality implant placed correctly after the healing stage will be more resistant to many factors than a natural tooth root. A titanium implant with the correct prosthetic installation will not break, and it is also resistant to caries. Constant oral care will ensure that the gums and implant site remain healthy; Implants are long-lasting, without neglect of care.

.
IS GENERAL ANESTHESIA NECESSARY?

Local anesthetics can completely block any pain. When your dentist prepares the implant site on the bone and places the implant, a vibration and slight pressure are felt, but no pain is felt. For most patients, this procedure feels like caries treatment, which is performed under local anesthesia. However, if the patient is nervous and wants general anesthesia, the doctor will give him the necessary information about it.

.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO REMAIN TOOTHLESS DURING TREATMENT?

No, if a movable prosthesis is used before treatment, a simple arrangement will usually be required to resume the use of this prosthesis; in cases where it is not used, the gap can be closed with a temporary prosthesis.

.
IMPLANT 3D NAVIGATION TECHNOLOGY

A good dental prosthesis in Turkey improves not only aesthetics, but also the quality of life. Conventional prostheses often cause disease, create painful pressure points and can reduce the sense of taste. That’s why dental implants have been used for 30 years to replace a single tooth and many missing teeth, or to fix dentures in place. Despite the developments, the surgery required to do this involves a large number of risks.

As an example, implants are most often placed not where they should be aesthetically, but where there are enough bones. Modern technology support is limited for implant application, despite the use of 3-D imaging technology in the lower jaw area. This causes drilling without details that are not precise and not in the right place, and this leads to slow and inadequate healing. It also ensures that there is a fully suitable non-settling dental prosthesis.

.
A RELIABLE METHOD IN TURKEY

Although positioning systems have been developed in brain and orthopedic surgeries, they are not very common in import applications. It provides all the requirements for accuracy, usability and security. The navigation system allows the dentist to transfer his prosthetic and anatomical planning to the practice with absolute reliability. Predictions and problems are recorded and analyzed, thus preventing their occurrence during surgery. Proper treatment allows to achieve a high quality standard in a convenient and reliable way with a minimal surgical approach.
.

Firstly, proper preparation of the implant socket and reduction of surgery complications accelerate the boiling of the implant to bone. For these reasons, navigational implant technology is highly accepted among Turkey dental patients and besides, it provides very valuable quality and certification support.
