IT IS NOW VERY EASY TO APPLY IMPLANTS TO DIABETES PATIENTS

Navigation dental implant treatment in Turkey is a method that minimizes trauma and bleeding in diabetes patients. It offers a safe and fast dentist treatment and does not tire the patient.

Diabetes is an important disease that has been affecting humanity since time immemorial. It is known that dental infections have a role in the course of diabetes mellitus and can change the clinical course of the disease. In addition, oral health affects the course of diabetes, as well as metabolic control of diabetes affects oral health.

.
INFORMATION EXCHANGE SHOULD BE PROVIDED

A best dentist in Turkey has an important role in the diagnosis of diabetes and metabolic control. He should have detailed information about this disease. The main thing is that he should know the path to follow in all dental-related treatments and be fully equipped with what to do if an emergency occurs. The most important thing that patients should do is; know the importance of oral health with this disease and pre-treatment, especially a surgical procedure which requires tooth extraction, dental implant procedure, cyst cleaning, dental treatment, gum treatment, operations 20 years of age treatments such as pre-diabetes consultation with doctors, dentists, we call to help to secure the exchange of information. If these are not taken into account, serious problems with bleeding and wound healing may occur.

.
TREATMENT IN A STRESS-FREE ENVIRONMENT

Intraoral complications of uncontrolled diabetes are devastating. The most common are bone resorption, rocking of the teeth, inflammatory gum diseases. Symptoms and diseases such as dry mouth, salivary gland dysfunctions, fungal infections, bacterial & viral infections, an increase in the number of caries, recurrent abscesses, and taste disorders are often observed.

1- The optimal blood glucose level for dental treatment is between 110 – 220 mg per. Higher values may increase the risk of hyperglycemia, lower values may increase the risk of hypoglycemia.

2- Insulin application should be completed one to two hours before starting treatment. Dental patients with diabetes should be treated with stress-free environments and methods. Stress increases the body’s need for insulin. Thus, patients can easily enter hypoglycemia. It is more convenient for the environment to give confidence, anesthesia is performed in full without frightening the patient, or treatment techniques in a semi-drowsy state, which we call sedation, are more appropriate.

3- Sterilization is very important because diabetics are resistant to infection. Much attention should be paid to the devices and tools used from where they sit. They are easier to get infected than other patients. In patients whose diabetes is not under control, the antibiotic that their doctor will give can be taken for preventive purposes before treatment.

4- During treatment, they may go into hypoglycemic shock and there may be loss of consciousness. It may be good if such patients have sugary water-orange juice with them when they go to treatment.

5- Wound healing occurs late in patients with diabetes, so it is useful to avoid major surgical operations. Laser-assisted gum treatment may be more beneficial for healing. If the jawbone has the appropriate bone width and depth, the preference for laser-assisted implant application in dental deficiencies leads to less trauma and faster healing.

6- Abscessed teeth and infected roots should definitely be treated or removed.

7- Gum treatments should be done before all the treatments to be done to the patient. This should be your must-have.

8- Prostheses should be made of solid and tissue-friendly materials of a quality that patients can easily clean.

.
NAVIGATIONAL IMPLANT

A navigated implant is an implant method that keeps trauma and bleeding to a minimum in diabetes patients. The Surgical Guidance System, called the Navigation System in the medical field, transmits all the dental, oral and maxillofacial information in dental treatment to the doctor and guides the Turkish doctor by determining the most suitable place where the implant will be made. The system reduces the margin of error to zero by alerting the doctor in Turkey hospital center if there is a shift from where it was detected during treatment. General functioning of the system; it is based on the surgical planning with very detailed digital tomography information received from the patient and the implementation of this plan to the patient during the intervention.
.

Three-dimensional planning and digital tomography provide a great advantage over panoramic X-ray.

.
IT IS A RELIABLE METHOD

Thanks to the system, the doctor does not need to cut the gum and see the bone. In implant treatments, the doctor reaches the bone by cutting the gum and follows a treatment path by looking at the bone. With this technology, all detailed information from the location of the nerves to the bone thickness can be obtained instantly and appropriate treatment can be achieved reliably. The system, which offers the possibility of implant treatment safely and quickly, prevents bleeding and discomfort caused by incorrect implant application, as well as doctor’s errors. Since the gum does not need to be opened to see the bone tissue, less pain and edema occur, tissue healing is faster.
.

The risk of infection decreases to a minimum with treatment with this method.

.
ADVANTAGES OF NAVIGATED IMPLANT TECHNOLOGY

Thanks to this technology, problems that may be encountered during implant applications are determined in advance, analyzed and no surprises are experienced during surgery in Istanbul and Antalya hospital dentistry centers.

It allows you to place the implant at the right angle and position. Modern technology support is limited for implant application despite 3D imaging technology in the lower jaw area. This causes drilling without details that are not precise and not in the appropriate place, and this causes slow and inadequate healing.

After the operation, because there are no surgical cuts, bleeding and stitches, very fast recovery is achieved.

Surgical planning with very detailed tomography information taken from Turkey dentist patient provides a great advantage over panoramic X-ray.

It eliminates unsuccessful results and nerve injuries encountered in implant treatment.
