WHAT ABOUT DENTAL IMPLANTOLOGY
Dean Of Aegean University Faculty Of Dentistry prof. Dr. and Turkey Medicals member said in a statement, “Dental implantology and its applications have begun to become a basic and routine treatment according to the demands of patients, rather than a luxury option in modern dental treatment today. With the increase of the services offered by written and visual media and the ease of access to information, patients and physicians are increasingly able to achieve their health with more informed and reliable treatments. However, as in every fast and newly developing sector, the results of careless and careless practices in the dental field can turn into a problematic process from the point of view of both patients and physicians.
Here, the starting point should be to determine whether the patient is a good candidate for dental implant treatment. The patient can force the doctor in terms of implant treatment in Turkey by dentists with the data obtained from various information pollution. Unfortunately, dental implant treatment is touted as an ‘aesthetic’ treatment rather than a comfort-enhancing option. Aesthetics is already a fundamental element of dentistry; it should not be brought to the fore as a separate phenomenon, and the ability to offer real aesthetics, especially in the treatment of dental Implants; it is shaped and changed according to the patient and technical conditions. Cases where the doctor does not have sufficient equipment and guidance on this issue can create a ball of problems due to the fact that the patient applying for Turkish dental implant treatment with high expectations cannot reach the final dream. A person’s oral hygiene conditions are also the most basic and important dimension of implant treatment. In this sense, the patient should be treated well; informed and prepared for implant treatment. Otherwise, patients who do not know that they receive comfortable health care by paying quite high prices can easily burden the responsibility of a direction that fails in their treatment without raising awareness only to the doctor. For these reasons, the number of our colleagues who have had to deal with clinical conditions that have been very damaging to the patient-physician relationship has increased recently.
The safest way to reduce these problems is undoubtedly to emphasize and support the importance of graduate education. It should be noted that only a few days of special education programs cannot complete this deficiency in the acquisition of clinical experience, and long training processes such as a specialty or doctorate are required.
