TURKEY IZMIR IS THE 2ND PLACE IN THE WORLD IN HOUSE PRICE GROWTH

In the list, which includes 150 cities from 55 countries, Turkey in Izmir ranked 2nd with an increase of 30 percent. Istanbul is in 9th place with 26.4 percent, and Ankara is in 10th place with 25.8 percent.

The Global House Price Index prepared by the UK-based real estate company Franks has revealed stunning results for Turkey. in the study covering 55 countries and 150 cities, three of the top 10 cities in the world where housing prices have increased the most in the last year were located in Turkey. Izmir was in second place with an increase of 30 percent, while Istanbul was listed in 9th place with 26.4 percent and Ankara in 10th place with 25.8 percent. Halifax, Canada, was the most likely place where prices increased by 30.8 percent. The Canadian city of Ottawa also shared the 10th place with Ankara, with an increase of 25.8 percent. Among the 11 cities where prices decelerated, Venice (6.3 percent) and Dubai (4.4 percent) drew attention.
