WEAR A BRA AT NIGHT?

Some can never go to bed with a bra, while others feel uncomfortable without a bra and don’t take off their bra even when they sleep. So, is it harmful to sleep in a bra all night? An Internal Medicine Specialist, Doctor noted that wearing a bra while lying down can cause damage to both our external organs, that is, to disrupt our breast form.

Sleeping with a bra can also start a process that leads to the deterioration of our spine axis, as well as to the triggering of cancer cells due to tissue damage that occurs in our internal organs due to long-term chronic trauma. In many studies, it has been found that using bras that are not suitable for our measure also causes breast cancer.

In the same way, sleeping in a bra at night is predicted and not recommended to trigger breast cancer, since it will expose our sensitive breast tissue to constant inveterate trauma and prevent tissue oxygenation.

At the same time, at the age of growth development, constant sleeping with a bra affects our spine axis in a bad way, which can lead to kyphoscoliosis, that is, curvature of the spine. These spinal curvatures can also disrupt the function of our lung and heart anatomy.

”We can’t say that there is or is not a benefit or harm to wearing a bra while lying down,” said an aesthetic and plastic surgery specialist, op. Dr. descriptions are as follows;

In fact, a person should lie as comfortable as he feels. But using a tight or bouncy bra while lying down, or using a bra with honey pressure on the breast can disrupt the lymphatic flow in this area, and this can cause chronic pain.

Again, it is also recommended that the bra that will be worn while lying down is not made of a fabric of a sweatshop structure, because this can lead to diaper rash and wound formation and burns, especially on large breasts. But no bra causes disfigurement and sagging in the breast, as the patient uses it while lying down. Although it has been suggested that chronic lymph edema can also cause cancer, it has not yet been scientifically proven that such a thing happens by wearing a bra to the breast.

.
WHY DO YOU WEAR A BRA WHEN YOU GO TO BED?

Patients with breast size and sagging usually wear this to avoid discomfort while lying down. For such cases, we also recommend the use of athlete bras or post-operative bras that do not tighten the breast too much and do not tighten the breast used after breast plastic surgery in Turkey.
