HERE’S A LIST FROM YOUR TURKISH EXPERT…

The increase in flu infections, especially with the differentiation of air temperature in seasonal changes, is indisputable. In fact, the change in air temperature does not make us sick, the changes in our immune system with the change in air make us sick. Then the right thing to do is attempt to strengthen our immune system. One of the best ways to strengthen our immune system is to take care of our nutrition. So, ” how should we feed in the fall?”, “What are the best foods to consume in the fall?”, “How can we protect the body against flu infections?”

Turkey Medicals member and our Expert dietitian Gizem has answered all these questions for you and shared natural recipes that will prepare your body for autumn. Here are the details…

Both personal hygiene and nutrition are very important for strengthening the immune system and protecting against flu infections that we often encounter in the fall. No food has miracle healing properties. It just acts as a puzzle in keeping the body resilient.

It will be beneficial to consume the recommended nutrients under dietitian control, taking into account your consumption and clinical health conditions. Our metabolism needs different vitamins, glucose and proteins to prevent flu infection from damaging our body.

Studies report that glucose may be the key to a flu infection. The glucose mentioned is fructose, glucose, galactose, which is found naturally, rather than artificially sourced.

.
CHERISH THE GREATEST WARRIOR HONEY

When Honey is consumed simply, it forms a thin film layer in the skin and mucosa, this layer protects the skin and mucosa from infections. Research on this property of honey is also supported by scientific evidence. Don’t exceed 1 teaspoon a day just for portion control.

Prepare decoctions with honey. Be sure to use the pleasurable and different tariffs you make at home for sweetening purposes. You can consume it as an intermediate meal by preparing perfumes with ginger, honey, yogurt and vitamin C and orange or Apple, or by making smoothies with milk.decoction

.
EAT AN ADEQUATE AND BALANCED DIET, ADJUST THE NUMBER OF MEALS WITH PROFESSIONAL OPINION

Infectious diseases and malnutrition trigger each other. If we are malnourished, infectious diseases associated with it can often occur, and life risks may occur in later periods. Decoctions with probiotics with 5 meals may be added to the classic Diet rather than a ketogenic or ergogenic diet during this period. 3 + 2, that is, we can keep the metabolism vigorous by creating a diet of 3 main 2 decoctions.

Examples include fish, carrots, consumption of dried pulses, groups of dried fruits, milk, yogurt, cheese, buttermilk, kefir. However, it will be beneficial to put probiotic supplements and water-soluble vitamin supplements in capsule or sachet format 30 minutes before bed at night in your immune-supporting diet programs organized by your dietitian.

.
BEWARE OF THE FEEDING PYRAMID!

A diet enriched with vitamins, minerals and anti-oxindans, called micronutrients, significantly reduces the rate of immune system problems and infectious diseases that develop accordingly.

.
PROBIOTIC USE AND THE ROLE OF VITAMINS ARE IMPORTANT

According to research, nutrient enrichment practices can reduce the frequency of flu infections, improve immune system parameters, prevent anemia, vitamin A and zinc deficiencies, and reduce the risk of infection by strengthening the immune system.

.
PROTECT FROM DISEASES IN SEASONAL TRANSITIONS WITH EPIGENETIC NUTRITION

Nutrition in flu infections and seasonal transitions is actually directly proportional to epigenetic nutrition. Our DNA structure and gene code actually tell us which foods can be healing and which foods can be poison. Flu infections obesity, diabetes, asthma and allergic reactions of people with immune systems caught more quickly when looking at the nutritional history of these people with research, we find that they feed on carbohydrate-weighted and glucose-formalized foods.

In epigenetic nutrition, interlokin systems are a group of hormones that act on our immune system, and in this system, especially the kuercetin pigment that stimulates the immune system prevents infections and strengthens immunity. It’s essential to balance the immune system. So, what are the recommended foods for this?

Green tea and white tea, fish, various seafood, red meat, iodized salt (replacing table yesils with iodized salt is the easiest way to get iodine. Those who have the disease must be careful hypertension), potato (patients with diabetes and insulin resistance should be carefully), yoghurt (yogurt can meet the requirement of 60 percent of daily iodine 1 cup), milk, cheese, beans, corn, oats, rice, egg (hard boiled egg can afford 20 percent of the daily iodine requirement 1), prunes, bananas, strawberries (5-6 strawberries can contain 5 percent of the daily requirement of iodine), pickle juice (hypertension and those who have the disease of gout should pay attention.)

.
INCREASE WATER CONSUMPTION

According to the nutrition guide, since fever, weakness and loss of appetite are observed in flu infection, water and electrolyte losses in the body are quite high. In a Normal diet plan, a person should take 30 ml of water per kilogram, while in the flu it is recommended to take 35-40 ml of water per kilogram.

.
