A FIXED JAW WITH FOUR IMPLANTS

The most suitable method for those who have never had a tooth and cannot use a movable prosthesis is the ‘Four implant technique’. If the bone structure is suitable, then this method may be preferable.

Dental implants are the most effective solution for patients who have difficulties due to lost teeth. Dental implants give an image like your own natural teeth and perform their functions in this way.

The all-on-four denture implant (Four implant technique) technique is a technique that allows you to fix a dental prosthesis on the same day on four dental implants placed at certain angles in completely toothless patients.

Patients who are scheduled for All On Four treatment should first undergo a clinical and radiological examination. Measurements are made on computed tomography (CT) and an appropriate planning is made for the patient. This treatment consists of two stages as surgical and dental prosthetic procedures. After four dental implants are placed in the patient as planned on the day of treatment, on the same day, the temporary dental prosthesis is fixed on the dental implants. After three months, the patient is given permanent dental prostheses.

SUITABLE FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NEVER HAD A FEMALE

Who can All On Four treatments be applied to?

This treatment can be applied to all patients with complete toothlessness (no teeth at all) who do not have any systemic diseases that will be an obstacle to dental implant surgery and have sufficient bone volume.
After the procedure, the temporary dental prosthesis fixed on the dental implants can be used immediately. But in the three-month period, which is the process of fusion of bone with dental implants, patients should be fed a recommended diet.

After this process is completed, the normal diet can be returned with a permanent prosthesis to be made.

.
LOWER COST

What are the advantages?

It offers full toothless patients the opportunity to have a fixed dental prosthesis with a single surgical procedure on the same day.

The operation is easier because no advanced surgical procedures such as sinus lifting (sinus lift surgery), bone addition are performed.

The duration of dental implant surgery is quite short.

Its cost is even lower due to the fact that the number of dental implants used is reduced and does not require additional surgical procedures.

With personalized planning, an aesthetic appearance and smile aesthetics are provided.

Easy to clean and maintain.

It is suitable for patients who cannot use movable dental prostheses.

The design is different compared to the palate tooth prosthesis (full tooth prosthesis). It is easier to use because it does not cover the palate of the patient.

Since the number of treatment sessions is small, it is suitable for patients residing outside the city or country.

Is it a reliable technique?

The All On Four technique is a technique that has been successfully applied in dentistry for more than 10 years.

This technique provides patients with a reliable, fast and low-cost treatment option in dentistry. Although it requires extra cost, technology and skills, it is often used by physicians working in this field and it seems that it provides a very high success rate.

How is the classical implant different from bridges?

In the standard implant technique, implants are placed at an average angle of 90 degrees to the jawbone. A minimum of six implants are needed to support the bridge prosthesis. In order for the tooth to be made on it, it is necessary to wait for the healing period of three to six months. In addition, sometimes it may be necessary to perform a bone graft if the patient does not have enough bone tissue.

The differences between the traditional method and the All On Four technique are as follows:

All On Four techniques:

For a fixed bridge, only four implants are required.

It is usually a cheaper and more effective solution.

Most often, treatment can be performed without applying a bone graft.

Implants and teeth can be installed in the same time frame (within a single appointment).

The traditional method:

Six to eight implants are required for a fixed treatment.

It is even more costly, as it requires more implants, surgery and appointments.

A bone graft is usually needed and the treatment period is longer.

It requires more than one appointment, a temporary prosthesis should not be installed until the permanent one.

It requires a six- to eight-month recovery phase.

.
BONE TISSUE IS EXAMINED

What are laser-assisted implant applications?

Implant applications performed with this method are known as a minimally invasive method. This method can be applied in any area where the bone volume is appropriate. Before the application of a laser-assisted implant, a three-dimensional computed tomography is taken from the patient to obtain detailed information about the width and depth of the bone tissue in which the implant will be placed. In this application, only the area of the gum to be implanted is opened using any of the erbium, diode, Nd:YAG, CO2 lasers. After reaching the bone tissue, a cavity with an implant diameter is opened with an erbium laser in the compact part of the bone, which is the hardest part of the bone. An implant is inserted into the cavity that is opened. After laser-assisted implant application, diode or Nd:YAG laser biostimulation is performed. Thanks to this application, the pain that may occur after the operation is eliminated and tissue healing is accelerated.

.
LASER TREATMENT OF INFLAMMATION OF THE TISSUE AROUND THE IMPLANT

If the inflammation of the tissue around the implant concerns only soft tissue, laser treatment of this area gives quite successful results. The pockets formed in the area are eliminated by laser and the existing infection is eliminated by bacterial sterilization. This procedure is easily performed under local anesthesia in a very short time and is quite successful as long as the patient pays attention to oral hygiene and comes to regular check-ups every six months.

In cases where inflammation of the tissue around the implant engulfs the bone, it is possible to open and clean the area and, if necessary, reconstruct it with bone graft applications.

In dentist treatment in Turkey of such conditions, erbium, diode, Nd:YAG, CO2 lasers are used individually or in combination and successful results are achieved.
