HOW TO MAKE AN ANDROID EARTHQUAKE WARNING SYSTEM, WHAT IS IT?

The tech giant is highlighting new features to make the lives of Android users easier. Thanks to the Android Istanbul earthquake in Turkey warning system, which has recently been launched in our country, citizens are warned seconds before the earthquake, allowing them to move to a safer place. The Android earthquake warning system can be done via the “location” settings of the phones.

Google puts the user experience at the forefront when developing new features. Thanks to the Android earthquake warning system, the most remarkable feature of the technology giant in recent times, an alert was sent to citizens shortly before the earthquake that occurred in Antalya on the morning of January 5, 2022. But still, the Android operating system does not guarantee that every earthquake will be detected with this application. Because your phone uses your location to send you alerts about earthquakes of magnitude 4.5 and above in your immediate vicinity. It sends these alerts with data provided by Sharke Alert.

In order to take advantage of the Android earthquake warning system, a wireless connection or data connection must be turned on.

* Open the SETTINGS application of your phone.

* Open EARTHQUAKE ALERTS.

You may not receive alerts for all earthquakes in Turkey that occur in your area. Sometimes you may receive warnings, but you may not feel that there is an earthquake in Turkey in your location.
